There's nothing to be compared to having a happy, healthy, and gifted child such as Vera: Look at Vera's graceful and precocious gestures. Is this from balancing on a rocking floor? There might be advantages to growing up on a cruising sailboat but there are certainly great advantages to having such good parents anywhere.

Did not know about balance bikes until the grandson, he is 6 now racing dirt bikes & winning. Learned today that on Thursday's we Swedes are to eat pea & mushroom soup with pancakes. Claim Swedish as like the Mouse DNA that is where mine points too.

Here's something I've never seen a channel cover before - Boarding ladders and/or platforms. Dinghies - done, but the other thing for people without a sugar scoop or cat, never seen it and it's used EVERY time we get on or off the boat when cruising.

Here in the US if we see something man made that is 100 years old we think of it as old, 200 years old is ancient, so when you show things like the canal that are centuries old to me it is just like looking at a star in the sky and being unable to fathom how far away it really is. Watching videos like yours definitely expands my view of the world. Thanks.

You are worried about your aerobic strength but you forget that Johan is carrying at least 30 pounds and you 20 pounds! Looks like you are in great shape to me. The fact that Vera is actually only 2 is amazing. She is so mature for her age. It is nice to see she has periods where she is with other children. Merry Christmas!!
