@@h2owl205 tbh bo2 is kinda overrated imo. the multiplayer is fun but the singleplayer just doesnt do it for me; something about the immersion factor just isnt there. and zombies was kinda meh after bo1
Game has a special place for me. It was the 1st cod I had ever played. I welcome AW2. Haven’t been playing the same ol’ refurbished installments of today.
Before AW, I strictly only played CoD for the campaigns. The AW multiplayer is what made me fall in love with the franchise. I do agree, 3 jet pack CoDs in a row was a bit much, by Infinite Warfare I gave up and moved on until 2019 when I came back to CoD.
I'm all for 1 Jetpack Game every 3 years. I've always said our COD Cycle should be a game roughly set in the past by Treyarch, then a game roughly set in the present by Infinity Ward, then a game roughly set in the future by Sledgehammer(the roughly is so they can give or take a few years since what is considered the past and future can sometimes fit into the timeframe of present day). Of course if the devs don't want to work with a set time period I'd understand that, but they already kinda stay in those lanes anyways(Sledgehammer just hasn't been allowed to do what they want).
The movement was refreshing in this game. The gunfights were crazy and fun, unlike the annoying bunny hopping and drop shotting you see in every lobby of the current cods. Amazing campaign and interesting take on zombies. My biggest complaint was how the best weapons were locked behind a paywall. That should never happen in a 60 dollar game. Also it was the first cod that I truly noticed strict SBMM. It wasn’t as crazy as current SBMM, but it still got frustrating at times.
Back in 2014, i used to stay up all night with my ex playing this game. The night she dumped me, than i proceeded to show her how to get to the hidden zombies mode. Yeah.. my new-to-me car i just got got towed and phone was dead. She let me charge my phone and call home. What a night
Is it just me or is the cod community never happy with a change, they ask for something then hate on it right after like wtf (also aw was a good call of duty in most cases)
It was a mix of the community being very skeptical of jetpacks, plus this was the first CoD where micrtransactions/loot boxes became an issue into getting what you wanted. Just a few games before you only had to pay a few dollars for a camo in BO2 or Ghosts. So in my opinion, AW deserved a lot of the hate it got.
Advanced Warfare deserves a sequel. I hope if they do they keep the boost from the first AW. It feels unique and different from titan fall unlike Bo3 and IW.
7:10 Supply drops didn’t need to be paid for in AW and were honestly the easiest to earn in COD history compared to BO3, IW and BO4, most of the hate for AW’s lootboxes are from the weapon variants with a slight upgrade or downgrade.
Sledgehammer Games pushed the envelope with AW. If AW didn’t come behind BO2 (🐐) , it would have been a massive hit due to its refreshing take on COD. AW was a little ahead of schedule with its release. Ghosts had to be the martyr coming behind BO2.
I absolutely loved Advanced Warfare. Every map was unique with strategies and guns that worked well on that map, the movement made for fast paced, high engagement games. The DLC maps were inventive and kept the game exciting. Hardpoint was absolutely insane. Grapple mode was so much fun. And despite people mainly using the BAL 27and the ASM 1, I loved the variety of guns. The KF5 single stack. Dual PDW Chuckers. The S 12 whirlwind. The ARX160 hole puncher. The Tac19 Roundhouse. The NA45 Ravager. The MORS quick bolt. I so wish they had green lit Advanced Warfare 2
Heres the thing it was actually the first game to be produced in 3 years since they first appeared in 2011 but the reason why its ahead of time was they just have more production on it than it was back in ghosts or even MW2 And im shocked this game is now 10 yrs old but i felt its ahead of time
nice vid as always, but i actually liked the cutscenes update from Cod Ghosts to Advanced warfare, cutscene graphics look almost like a 2018 game cutscenes ❤
Look. I agree with Tdawg. Because I just got done playing AW. I loved it. It’s a refreshing change. It was fun campaign had an great story of Corporate greed. I just. Didn’t see why people hated it so much. And I’m glad Tdawg laid it out and explained
People still complain regardless. People are so stubborn when it comes to change so I don’t expect any change anytime soon. Infinite Warfare hate is why we have MWII(2022).
It was very different and that’s what I loved about it, It was so different that when I try and play Bo3 or IW it pisses me off because people still play both, but they don’t play the OG Exo AW!
If the community doesn't even know what they want I believe we should get 2 regular cods (following the main stories of MW an black ops) and one with advance movement.
Thanks Edited so your giving me a PC just because I commented and I was underrated for the comment? Well I’d love to have the pc but my mother will destroy it because she doesn’t want me to have a pc
I personally want AW2 I want them to continue that campaign story it was awesome still top 3 best campaign’s for me anyways 3rd : AW, 2nd: Ghost and 3rd: MW2-OG shepherd’s betrayal was so unexpected still gives me chills to this day!
I really want to return into world war II into card call of duty Wooler to be definitely the most underrated cotton community vanguarder a little bit underrated summer stuff is a bit questionable in the game
I hope COD innovates rather than bringing old shit back like they been doing but this game has bigger issues than this such as rampant cheating, broken updates, a weekly changing meta to get people buy bundles and Battlepass. I never played any online game that has had this much issues daily. It’s almost like this entire game series is still in BETA and they are working on fixing and stabilizing the game still after 20 years. So much potential and they just keep F’in up to please the mass rather than the core.
I don’t know why people are hating on sledge hammer games studio bc they are actually listening to us and making good quality games. Infinity ward isn’t making anything special anymore and has flopped on a campaign so badly for mw3 that It makes me think the sabotaged the campaign to make this mw3 game worse
MW3 (2011) was mybfirst cod. Sonce i was like 7 years old, is was terriblw at it cuz i was new to controller. ( i used to play it on an xbox 360) but when i got a ps4, everything changed. I got cod wwii, but my disc got corrupted a few days later. I was decent at it i guess. But last year when i got aw, my skill lvl rose. I got pretty good at the game, i beat yhe campaign 2 times on veteran, and i did a trickshot too! AW made me a great player in cod. I am getting cod 4 remaster soon. Its gonna be epic (also dont type i aintbreading all that its fucking annoying tbh)
The two things that killed this game for me was the awful monetisation and the campaign. Despite the crazy new tech, the campaign didn’t feel futuristic at all. It was generic as it gets and besides a standout performance by Kevin spacey every other character was completely forgettable.
Bo3 to me always felt like AW2, but because it was Treyarch’s turn to make a game they called it Bo3 probably because they weren’t allowed to call it AW2 or maybe it was there take on Exo idk.
IMO, AW was innovative and refreshing. Being that it “failed,” Activision didn’t let them have full creative control like IW and Treyarch because those two proved themselves with hit titles/series. WW2 was a good game with good mechanics then Activision forced Sledgehammer to make back to back WW2 games which I believe caused them to make Vanguard a throw-away game. Activision tested them with MWIII and they did good. With the somewhat success of MWIIi, I believe Activision is finally going to let Sledgehammer make AW2 (which will be awesome). Activision/Microsoft are going to let IW make COD Ghosts 2 since it seems as if IW is throwing away games each time they are up to bat. With 3Arch having two back to back BO titles and sledgehammer may finally be able to release AW2 and IW with a possible Ghosts 2, this indeed will be the grand comeback of the COD franchise under Microsoft.
Yes another jet pack please! Advanced warfare was awesome and i still like to go back and play it. I liked advanced warfare more then b06. Im very disappointed in b06. BUT love the omni movement.
I'd love 2 jetpack cods back to back, then 2 boots on the ground cods back to back tbh. Starting with cod 2025(perhaps a real bo3 sequel) and 2026(iw2). I think this offers jetpack players variety for years to come which is what those fans really want.
