It honestly depends on the party or event... I made a much smaller one for Christmas and it was almost left untouched because of the amount of food that we had... It also seems to overwhelm some people but it looks so good that it's worth it. As long as you make sure to have some of the cheese cut and to provide enough knives so people can cut the rest themselves I think it would be enough and people would go for it. I even added some edible flowers to mine and people really liked it, I just think it would have been more appropriate if the board had been a way to cook less and not to add more.
For folding salami, my co worker taught me to press or hold it for a few extra seconds for the heat of your hands to warm the fat in the salami. It will stay in place once a corner is warmed and pressed gently onto the board. ☺️

I disagree! Carla is like the best aunt, who knows everything but is still so much fun and enjoys the litte things. I cant think of anyone who would be a carla 😁
I've done this type of meal for Christmas and New Year's Eve now for a couple of years. It's the only time I use some vintage dishes I have. Your presentation here is really beautiful and will serve as inspiration for me for next holiday season. I love the idea of the crackers or bread being secondary to the other goodies!
I wish I was bougie enough to do a cheeseboard like this but I don’t know anyone who would eat half of this stuff. My friends and family are definitely more of the ritz cracker with cheddar cheese types, no vegetables
Start off by making a mini one for yourself! Also, sometimes people are more willing to try something new when it's been made by a family member or friend. We often get in to eating habits of the same old thing and sometimes just something new being readily available can be enough for us to at least try it. Especially when it looks beautiful.
I make candy ones!! Filled with sweet snacks and lots of candy just displayed all “fancy”. I’ve also made a brunch board with all breakfast items. Which is so yummy
@@carlyknowles1844 Oh my god thats such a cute idea!!! I think I might do the same for christmas! I'm thinking a sweet and salty board... some dark and milk chocolates, strawberries, pretzels, caramels, toffee, some fudges, m&m's, peanuts...
Rishon, YOU are BEAUTIFUL, your food presentation is STUNNING! You've obviously studied painting, understand food prep and know the human mind!! Thank you for sharing this lovely charcuterie board and helping people like me make everything look like an oil painting by a Great Master!
The best, by far, charcuterie tutorial to date! I was making my grocery list as the items were presented. Only problem I can foresee is my family will be full before I serve the Christmas prime rib. Thanks for this awesome video, you just gained a subbie!
Love this! I've watched it 2-3 times and am using it as the centre-piece for my first ever family gathering in my new place on 26th. Rishon is amazing - really beautiful ideas & clear explanations - practical for foodies and non-foodies alike. Super-inspiring, lovely accent & v natural presenter. Am headed off to the store now with my list... Cheers! :)
Aww! Thank you so much for watching and such lovely compliments! And congratulations! What a wonderful way to celebrate 😊 I hope your family enjoyed your spread and cheers to many more merry gatherings in your new place! - Rishon
I love her! And as someone who's dabbled in food styling before (I worked for a small ad agency) I know how much time, patience and work goes into these shoots.
I randomly stumbled upon this channel while watching a Tasty video. Glad I did, because it looksn like it's for people who appreciate good food and are not completely hopeless in the kitchen :)
WONDERFUL ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL , I HAVE LEARNED OF A FEW NEW ITEMS , CAN'T WAIT TO PUT TOGETHER THIS BOARD....... THANK YOU , FOR SHARING..............HAPPY NEW YEAR..............
A supermondo huge blackberry like that, it's not necessarily the most attractive, even though there's like nothing wrong with it. I would just say having your fruit be a more petite size is just really nice and appealing.
I think a good idea is to cut the grapes into little bunches to make it easier for people to access. They can still be all displayed and spritzed in a pile together.
Thank you! This looked really nice. And with really good cheeses. My husband's sister and husband will eat with us next weekend, then I will imitate this as best I can :)
Looks divine! With the possible exception of the bleu cheese I’m ready to jump in. Thanks for taking the time to explain the cheeses and what they go with! Really helpful. And I do agree with you about the cornichons. Who doesn’t want to eat a little pickle?
So far from all the charcuterie board I’ve seen yours is the best from the lay out, cuts and food choices. Would you have a list of all the cheese choices and what toppings or spreads go them what cheese? Thank you!
1:13 "Le Rustique". As a French, I find it quite funny to see that here. 😆 Your cheese board is PERFECT, Madame, it's absolutely gorgeous and very original. I want to taste everything ! 😍
Nice tuturiol however when I slice the goat cheese I always make sure before Each slice I wash the knife with warm water so that way it's slices beautifully and doesn't look like I had any troubles with it and it looks presentation perfect..

Your board looks amazing! beautiful presentation, nice blend of cheeses and cured meats and fruits and everything! 😍 in Belgium we do this style of boards a lot.... only thing bothering me just a little bit is not using forks or spoons to take the things out of the jars 😊
New Fan Here! Your video inspired me to make my charcuterie board for dinner guests last night! I love your personality and talent that you share! Thank you!!
My son in law made me a beautiful charcuterie board for Christmas. I will be using it for the first time this weekend. It would appear that my planning has missed some key ingredients. Oh well. I'll learn by trial and error.
Omg I should have seen this before! My family did this for Christmas, and it was 3 times bigger than yours but it was so difficult. Me, my mom and boyfriend doing this table for at least 3 hours hahaha but at least became beautiful and so delicious! It would have helped a lot.
Hi guys! Also some sort of food professional here, just a tip for the salami - fold it asymmetrically so that the portion underneath is smaller than the top portion. This makes the top heavier and it won't unfold as easily
ok but like besides just this for photos, this is a great tutorial for an actual person to entertain?! amirite?!
U R RITE!!!
@@welldone How many people should this serve?
@@shitlista4283 Depends if it is in fact used in lieu of a meal or not. If it is, about 4-6 people, and if not, 5-12.

Raven Horan Watching this you will! Most popular thing now at any get together! Pair with Wine and or soft drinks, lemonade or mocktails !
Are you me? For Christmas, an acquaintance gave me beautiful gold plates that I was told was "good for entertaining"... ENTERTAINING WHO? 😂😂😂
taurigirl lmao 😂 maybe hang them up or something. Or have very fancy meals on them

Nice tip!!
Or you can use a tooth pick/kebab skewer (bamboo), then fan them out so they make a salami river. Looks beautiful, and stress free lol.

Lol
She is really cool. Very professional with a great sense of humor. Love the combination
Thank you! Glad I’m not the only one that thinks I’m cool! 🤓 - Rishon
Well Done you‘re welcome. Love from Germany
right! she is great
All I need is Netflix and this entire board forget a party 🤤
like she is speaking in her best drunk mode
i thought nobody noticed! lol
She's a very grown up Cher from Clueless when she's a bottle deep in Chadonnay.
Yes, bizarre.
Sounds like someone with a Southern drawl accent who's been living in LA or New York lol
Jude Barnes exactly what it is!
A shopping list for this would be super helpful!!!
And Expensive!!
she's like a blonde Carla Music from BA. She knows what she's doing and does it with awesome humor and really delivers.

Than put those items on a board! Wah La!
Really surprised why this account has so little views and subscribers 😫 so underrated
Thanks! We're working on it! Tell all your friends :)
It was only posted December 13. Maybe people haven't had a chance to view it.
It's the voice and the way she talks, not attractive.
I love how the stylist never calls it a "charcuterie board" - because it's not.
RCL 1221 honest question here: why is it not a charcuterie board? I’ve heard it’s not before but I don’t know why
@@pamcas4502 technically, charcuterie boards are only meat, but its kind of morphed into an umbrella term for these sorts of arrangements :)
Yes I would call it a meat and cheese board. I like the fact the she keeps grains off of it
