Many rough roads I see. The views as you drive is so beautiful there ! The old cabin was cool to see. So many obstacles to find a campsite. Beautiful Lake view, such a nice spot to camp at 😊
It's amazing we were even able to find as much free camping so near national parks. Canada has a lot to discover.
Wow - what a trek! But nice spot to camp! Wow - international! You two are on the move!!
We cruised fast through Canada. The gas is much more expensive, but we're so glad for all the experiences. Got our toes wet on international travel too.
That was a fun adventure through the woods! Leftover curry deliciousness with the bears possibly nearby was a good attempt to observe the wildlife! LOL.. That cabin was sooo cool!! Just imaging it in its progress of being built in its time. What a feat that must have been. You guys would definitely have no limits if Opal had 3 more inches of clearance and 4 wheel drive. One day, I'm sure. Those last 2 spots with the lake views were pretty sweet locations to camp! Now, the choice to camp near someone else or try to get down the other road to be alone? I would have to walk the road myself before making that call. Great video guys!!
We desperately need more clearance, but also can imagine the trouble we'd get into. Opal keeps us grounded. Lol! Yeah, that private spot on the lake was the best, but it wasn't worth getting stuck. We could have parked and walked our tent down there though.
So you made it to the Premier Spot. Wow. Enjoy.
We'll show it more in the next episode, but it was perfect to spend a few nights.
Amazing video!! Thanks for sharing!!
We appreciate you. Thank you.
Charlie drivin Opal like a boss! Musta been pretty thirsty too to take a big ole sample of that water, lol! Yall ended up finding a sweet camping spot!! Postcard scenic views 🤩.
Sorry, took so long to watch. I was on vacation in the UP. I got a spot for you guys to check out. Lake of the Clouds located inside the Porcupine Mts (The Porkies). There is some pretty amazing camping there also. I just got back from there and it has to be some of the most beautiful country Ive seen. (Well, besides where you guys are at now 😆).
I look forward to the next video. Have a great week and Fart On!!!
We really kicked ourselves for missing out on the Porcupine Mountains. Glad we can go vicariously through you though. The UP is one of the prettier places we've been, and the porkies have to be next level. Did you get to the Quincy Mine too?
@TheAdventureCloset I went to the Quincy Mine. I didn't get to do the tour though because we didn't have time to wait. I will try to post a video and some pics of the Porkies.
That was a big sip to see if the water was good , poor opal those roads are rough , really cool old cabin , the lake is cool but i would have never seen it , that road looked crazy , thanks my friends
Happy Birthday Elizabeth 🎂🎂
Lol! Good thing the water was fine. With all those beavers in Canada we wouldn't want any beaver 💩 fever. 😆 Thanks for watching my friend.
Enjoy your time
Thank you!
I’ve seen some bad roads in my day, but those looked awful. I think I would have had to nope out of them long before you did before you did! Glad you made it. Thanks for the video.
The camera wasn't even doing it justice. These roads were just too rough for Opal. We tend to push her a little too far sometimes too, but we often wonder if we had more clearance if we would just get into more trouble. lol! Thanks Daniel!
Professional minivan driver 😂😂😂😂
A badge is in order! lol!
Sweet potato curry sounds good I even know I love sweet potatoes I've never had that can you link a recipe?😊
No recipe, but our last video where we slept under the Trans Canada Highway I filmed myself cooking it. The flavor was incredible, but the potatoes could have used some more cooking.
opels fine. problem lies with the driver.
lol! There's always room for improvement. Open to suggestions if you have them.
Gave u done any free camping up near Chilliwack lake?
We haven't. Are you planning a trip? What we do in popular areas like that is check trailheads and boat launches. Just check signs to make sure camping isn't prohibited.
