Me and my husband discovered this campground by accident a couple years ago we absolutely love it !! We we’re just there camping a few days ago , in site 19 and and thought site 21 is perfect we will be back in a few weeks , thanks for a great video !!
thank you for such a details video! its very helpful for people like us who never been to a campground in BC and 1st timer to visit the campground! look forward for more adventure video from you both! :D
We're so happy to hear that this video was helpful to you. Be sure to check out our playlist of BC campground reviews for other parks that you may be visiting. We add more every summer. Happy camping!
Came over from camping UA-cam support. Love Canada’s Provencial Parks. We were there a couple years ago, and you just can t go wrong. Love your reviews.
To add to the activities, at the south end of the lake where the creek enters the lake, there is a fantastic sand bar and channel. This is the best spot to enjoy the water, it is shallow in spots and can be a bit warmer than the rest of the lake. If you walk up the logging road just outside the gate to about 2km you can hike up a disused spur that has a fantastic view of the lake and opposite peaks.
Did you happen to explore the Silver Skagit Service Road or the other off shoot road to the west? I’m wondering about pull off spots for camping in the surrounding Crown Land in case Silver Lake is all full.
Thank you for the campsite info! I’m heading there in 2 days and I happen to book the same site as yours! I was worried cuz it will rain but at least now I know how the site look like! Thank you so muchhhh❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Amazing, you'll love it! Here's hoping there won't be too much rain. Although a little bit of rain while camping can be nice! I like the sound of rain on a camper or tent roof. 😀
man, another unbelievable spot you guys found... that bridge seemed a little squirrely, but fishing in that lake would be worth the trek across... lol The bloopers were hilarious again... lol sitting, staring and smiling at the camera for several moments is something we do, too sometimes... haha God bless, guys!
Hi Miguel, good question! We didn't see any when we were there and Benny is on a flea/tick preventative also. Having said that, it doesn't mean they aren't out there 😁 It's always good to do a tick check after walking/hiking in wooded and tall grassy areas.
Love Silver lake looo beautifully designed ❤
Love the campground and your input on the sites! Beautiful! Well done as always and the bloopers are so fun 😂 excited to see more of BC! Take care!
Thanks guys! Anything in BC you're really itching to see? Maybe we could make a vid about it 🙂
@@HomeARoam we love everything there! I’ll think on it and let you know though 😉
I like that you give reviews of the campsite. You cannot find information out there which sites are the best. Appreciate it.
Thanks for the feedback! Glad to hear it's useful 😊

Welcome aboard our journey! BC definitely has some amazing camping, as does a lot of Canada. So much to explore!
That's such a great sunny spot by the lake! Love it there!
So relaxing!

Another great video promoting camping
in BC, and of course the bloopers add to the human touch!
Thanks Paul!
Looks beautiful, love the water views! - Michelle & Brian
Thank-you, we really enjoyed it there. It's a small park, but that can be nice sometimes.
Looks like a great campground. I liked that you gave suggestions for your favourite sites, too.
Thanks! We find it helpful to hear from someone who's been there before us, and thought others would, too.
I think you two should look into being campground hosts.

Isn't it amazing how easy it is to forget everything the second a camera is turned on?! Lol.
Beautiful area....
Yeah lots of great spots around here
thanks for the amazing review! any issues with ticks at all?

Do you think its comparable driving here from chillwack vs chilliwack to chilliwack lake
Probably similar road conditions. A few pot holes, but if you take it easy they aren't so bad.
Is that a TV folding table you have your cups on?
Very likely. We traveled with one for a few years because we liked the height and that it could collapse for travel. I broke last year, though.
Is there frogs there ? Lol
We didn't see any, but that doesn't mean they aren't there.
