It is odd how people are oblivious to this person hiking way up there without any regard to safety like its some type of cinematic reel.I guess entertainment these days is more important.
Yeah some folks are mean in the comments, I hear ya! You’re a much bigger UA-camr than me, but still, my advice is ignore them, always the best way. Keep up the awesome adventures you two!
Here is a tip to keep you and your vehicle safe when your out hiking. Leave a sign on the dash that says ( hey guys meet me at the spot i told you about when you get here.)
I like your videos because they present actual situations without theatrics; in other words I believe you genuinely present what you really experience without exaggerations . Keep up the good work !
I am genuinely jealous of how independent you are, and from the videos I've seen, you do it in a really smart way (i.e have all the equipment that you need and safety measures too) I would love to be this outdoorsy.
You have the most wonderful pup. My friend would love to do what you do, but he is missing his soul pup. Is there any chance you could share what breed he is?
Glad nothing was taken from your car and the battery didn’t die. I’ve done that a couple times with my Outback and the battery drained on me. Been living for these videos lately. Thanks for sharing your and Kyro’s adventures :)
Were you on your original factory battery? From the research I've done, the factory oem batteries are not great, even mine started leaking early. Look into Optima batteries, they can take a beating, more reliable in extreme conditions
I love your content. The cooking is a really fun aspect as well. I really like feeling like we are just hanging out and getting to see all of the ins and outs of car camping life, and how you do it. It is inspiring to see another young woman, and being able to relate. I love your point of view. Canada is beautiful! Thanks for sharing and inspiring us to get out there!
I just started living in my pickup truck (after an RV for 2 years) and I just can't find any other female nomads that are doing similar, except you. I love your videos! Especially that you have a fur friend. Happy trails and I look forward to more!
@@stephenflynn7600 I sold my RV to live with my then boyfriend in our truck and trailer. Long story very short, he turned out to not be the person he portrayed and I got swindled out of everything. Hence, living in my truck. It's all on my channel. (Pushing not pushing my channel, lol)
Good bashplate for the underside of the vehicle and some scratch proof wrap for the side panels. I have both on my car for the amount of offroading I do in Australia, It has paid for itself!

Madison These videos are very entertaining. I keep watching one after the other. I know, I need a life. You're doing what I keep saying I want to be doing. This is a great way to see how it's done. You're my new inspiration. Thank you so much. Scott
Great video! I've had my Outback for several years now and really love it for soft-roading and camping. The off-road capability has gotten me through some surprisingly difficult situations. I'm a life-long Jeeper, but I needed a vehicle that was good daily driver and could still handle mild to moderate off-roading. Plus, Subaru has been a lot more reliable! I'd recommend a good set of all-terrain tires, which will have improved traction, durability and wet/snow performance. You can get them in the same size as your stock tires, so you don't need to get new wheels. A skid plate which protects the engine and transmission is also a good idea as the stock plate is only plastic. There's a Canadian company called LP Aventure which makes aluminum skid plates for your Subaru, as well as a lot of other cool stuff. Most auto shops could do the installation for you, if you're not so inclined. Also, you should be able to disable the pre-collision avoidance feature of your Outback. Mine is a 2018, but yours should be similar. If you check your Subaru Eyesight manual it shows how to disable this. Left of the steering wheel near the bottom of the dash is a cluster of 6-8 buttons. One button is marked "off" and shows a car about to hit another car. Press and hold this button for 2 secs, you'll hear a beep and and an indicator will show in your instrument console. This feature will remain off until you stop/restart the engine, or press the button again for 2 sec. Oh, and Foresty sent me!
I agree with the other viewer that said they admire your strength and independence. It gives me motivation to want to travel on my own with my two dogs. Thank you so much ❤you help so many people
Jeepers you keep making me hungry. I just found your channel a few days ago and I am totally addicted and going through all of them. You are absolutely amazing!
You are sooooo Cute. You have an amazing energy. I follow many hikers and campers, that half of time they just complain. I really like how you show things can be so doable and simple if you just want it them to be.
I’m trying to remember the brand, I think it’s Aries off-road out of Israel. They make aluminum skid plates for the motor/trans and rear diff that you should definitely check out. When I had my forester I had all three plates and they saved that car a few times.
Every time I watch a videos I add to my Amazon cart lol. I wish I was this outdoorsy. I just can’t deal with the bugs but one day I will get some courage and go hiking and camping and fishing. Loving your adventures.
I really enjoy your video's very much. I am 74 and have been taking my grandgirls camping, hiking and water sports. Watching you camp is very inspiring to say the least. You are quite the camp chef! Stay well, stay ßfe.
This is the third video of yours that I watched today! You are an amazing young person! And I will be following you some more! You are living my dream! Funny thing is though, I am only a semi-loner! Lol!! Always needed a buddy to go places, and do things with. Mountains are my first love too!
Maybe someone else has already said this, but you can go into your car settings and turn off pre-collision braking. Helps A TON when offroading. If you shift into reverse, you also have the ability to turn of reverse automatic braking next to the backup camera. First video of yours, I've seen. Slick content!
I was watching you struggle with pushing your table in and out. If you took 2 sheets of ply, cut them down to the width you need, then use the scrap or some pallet wood to sandwich between, you could make a pocket for your table. I might make that for my truck now that I'm thinking about it...
Nice video. Enjoy the cooking too, often overlooked. Fire to Fork is a good cooking / outlanding channel. I look forward to more vidros. Keep enjoying the outdoors!
Fun, great video! Looked like a great Cook, to me. Matter fact, gonna make me that Salmon tonight. Thanks for the idea of smothering mayo and mustard. Keep up the good work. Happy Trails
Amazing I loved everything about this. I just found your channel through a short about your bike I believe it was a 1977 and you changed your spark plug. I laughed almost all the way through it was so legit and real and there were no extra fillers that made the videos cringy and just cheesy. Keep it up about to watch another video of yours before i read a book and hit the bed like you mentioned towards the end of the video. Just gained another subscriber. You definitely inspired me to start hiking and doing adventures with my sister she reminds me of you a little. haha
You're doing very well. Keep on...The fishing will come quickly. Love ur cooking and the details u offer on what u bring to an efficient camp rig. I use my 4wd suburban. I need a lot of equipment u have. Working on it. Thanks, john
I have a 2024 and it's the first car I've had with all the safety bells and whistles, and also turns off at stop lights. Took some getting used to for sure!
I car camp in my minivan. I love to go eastern Oregon, Idaho, and Montana in winter and go ice skating outdoors. When it gets below 10 F at night, it feels pretty cold. But that just makes me happy because I know the ice is getting thicker! The key to it is to have some money saved up for car repairs. I had to get some things done and it wasn't cheap, but better to pay someone else to do it than to be stranded with a car that won't run.
I live out of my Subaru, previously a Forester now an Outback, and hike all over the place in Colorado to California. I can really relate to waking up and forgetting where I am.

get one of the roll up aluminum tables with collapsible legs, one of my best helpers for car cookin, they are very sturdy to the point where indoors i put a dehumidifier on top of it with no problem , plus an additional 10 pounds , great cooking and anything table and packs small ( aluminum slat table ), i dont like cooking so close to car
For propane you can hit up Canadian Tire and pick up the 5lbs canisters, slightly bigger but saves you way more money by having a refillable over the expensive one-use 1lbs.

FYI, you can trim that belt and either re-attach the plastic tab or melt the end with flame. Makes it neater, less weight, and possible snag point.
