Over the years I've learned to save money at every turn. When my three kids were teenagers, I was a divorced mom. I planted my first garden learned to make freezer meals for crazy days (I was working 3 jobs), I shopped sales, discount stores and to cook from scratch. Now 15 Years later, I've remarried, we live on 20 acres, hubby hunts our property, I have multiple gardens, a greenhouse, raise chickens, forage our land, dehydrate, can everything and still remain frugal. Fortunately now I'm a SAHM, homemaker and loving our simple life. I've learned to make my own tea blends, lotions, soaps and more. God is good!
I’ve noticed if I put meat in the freezer in its thin plastic original packaging, it gets freezer burn too quickly, but if I put it in a freezer bag it doesn’t. Great tips!
The bedroom is from the Canadian National parks paints in Home Hardware. It is called Dark Sky Preserve. I will have to search for the paint chip for the kitchen and let you know :)
