Yes! This is my favorite topic from your old channel, so it’s so fun to see you talk about minimalism on this one! I have been on a minimalism journey for the last couple of months and I have used your videos to inspire and inform how I approach it. Thank you for this content. Keep it coming!
I respect you a lot for blurring your kids faces and protecting their privacy until they are old enough to decide for themselves. It unfortunately not so common here on UA-cam.
I'll be honest, I watch more when you do minimalism videos. I only watch youtube when I need cleaning motivation. I love the calmness of you and how your home functions so I would love to watch more of your videos again. Thank you for sharing this video!
I need more minimalism videos on toys, decluttering clothes and minimalism groceries. Please and thank you. I mean… like what are basic things to work on to never have to buy again. Such as kids snacks and you already have showed us bread but stuff we buy at convenience but could easily make better for ourselves. Maybe simple sew projects too.
Have your kids declutter with you if they are old enough. If they are not old enough they won't notice. Even if they do they will forget eventually lol. For their clothes don't buy new ones unless they almost out grew everything. I buy twice a year (summer/ winter) and only set a budget of $200 for two kids each season. So that's $400 per year. I buy clearance only or wait for sales. Old navy has 75%+ off sales. I also don't buy ahead of time, size gaging can be tricky. Oh for the toy aisle we don't even go near it or down specific food aisles.
I watched you since your beauty channel! So happy to see you outside of the kitchen - the old Sarah Terese style - missed your old content format. I understand why it changed, but it’s still my fav format :)!! How your family is doing well!
I used to watch your closet videos over and over again so would love to see that again especially with all the color you have now and now me being a mom myself
We love living small too!!! For 2 years lived in a 500sqft 1bd apartment with three children, and now we are living in a 430sqft RV trailer with four kiddos!
I feel like I'm watching myself in two years 😊 Just had our fifth, and the oldest is almost seven. I'm a homeschool, minimal(ish), sourdough making mom trying to juggle all the things. I love that you don't include your kids' faces, it's so respectful of their privacy. You've earned my sub, I'd love to see more minimalism videos, but I'll have to check out the rest of your channel, too, and see what else you work on!
I have been around since the 1 bedroom home. Loved when you decluttered the whole house. I was so impressed how you managed to know where everything was and the four of you fit in that space. Yes, please to more decluttered/minimalism.
It's so lovely to see you! I started following you for the minimalism years ago, then fell off at some point and i am so so gappy to see your beautiful face, bright mind and lovely home. Yes please, more practical mininalism with kids. Hobby and art supplies I would love to see! ❤
One load a day helps a lot with the laundry. I also keep each persons laundry basket in their own closet and now that they are older they help with their own laundry. It avoids all the sorting and figuring out whose socks they all are.
This took me back to days when you were in your mobile home, I have been here since Ivy was born and you decided to get a hair cut! I have grown so much since then and learned so much too and you helped shape my thinking in more ways than my own home. This was a walk down memory lane, not just for you but for me too. Remember Ola muchahos!
Enjoyed this video!! Yes more minimalism! Love your balanced approach, it’s similar to what I do and it’s helpful to see how someone else organizes their house. You reminded me to talk to my husband about letting go of our extra cutting boards we never use 😂
I’m an old follower. I started following you when you were pregnant with Elizabeth. Over the years I kind of did not like your content anymore and just unsuscribed. But I’ve suscribed again recently and I’m loving your videos. You’re showing your personality again, and that’s what I like, your touch, your style. This is video is a great example! I want to know your take on things. It resonates with me; sometimes it doesn’t, but that’s ok. You’re showing a new perspective, something other that what I live, and it inspires me :)
I would love to hear what you do during holidays and birthdays when the kids get gifts. As a mom of 4 living in a very small house, I try to keep the toys organized and minimal but after gift receiving, I always have to reshuffle all the toys...
Hi. ADHD Mom of 6 here. I hate folding clothes, so I started to put everything on hangers except underwear and socks. Kids could see their clothes & get what they wanted without messing up other clothes. Try it. You might like it.
@@Jillianrc i have small velvet hangers for my preschooler. She has a couple baskets in the bottom of her closet for shorts and swimsuits/ ballet stuff. Socks go in a basket in bottom drawer w shoes in a cabinet by front door. Another basket for winter hats and gloves and winter coats are also all in the cabinet where she can reach.
Alll the minimalism videos, please!!! I’m a new mama and my house has become overrun😅 I try- baby’s clothes are constantly switched out for new sizes, toy rotations have helped a lot, etc. But for me it’s the day-to-day stuff we use a lot. All the stroller gear, winter gear, baby’s plates, spoons, cups, etc. My kitchen counters specifically are overrun but I feel like there’s not much I can get rid of
Your speaking my lingo. Love organising, being minimalist. House wife, a mother who choses to stay at home and look after kids . Doesn't get appropriate enough. ❤
Where we live water and electricity service fluctuate a ton, so even If we wanted a minimal closet it wouldn't work(aleady tried it) we keep about three weeks worth of clothing at any given time, we do laundry everyday a load or two depending on weather. Living in the caribean heat, wearing things twice like jeans or sweaters won't fly 😂😂. But on pretty much everything else we keep a very similar lifestyle to yours.
Omg your mindset is amazing. I would love to see more minimalism videos. We also want to adopt a similar lifestyle in our home, but it's so hard to make the change with three little kids.
Love to see a mom perspective on minimalism. I just had my fourth child and we homeschool as well. Beginning this journey of minimalism and making things work for us. I noticed as I had more children the items begin to flood in and create more chaos. Refreshing video ! I’m a creative and I like personality and order and so it’s nice to see that balance
Great video Sarah! I've been watching your content since before Ivy was born and we're finally expecting our first baby! Excited to continue using a lot of your minimalism tips, and to teach them to our daughter 😊 Love your content! You've been such an interpretation to me. ❤
More minimalism videos please❤❤❤ As soon as I started watching this video my body surged with motivation 😅 I started tidying and decluttering. I listened to this probably 6 times in the background 😅
I love this video!! It’s so jolly and upbeat, and enjoyable and happy to watch. I haven’t watched one of your videos for a while but love this style and love seeing you look happy and confident and relaxed. Merry Christmas and Happy New year xxx
I have the same system with laundry down to the laundry basket in the linen closet! I think we struggle most with toys- as we get constant toys from grandparents and even our elderly kind neighbors
This was an awesome video. I have just watched it for the second time, lol. I am a mum of nine and I totally agree that it is about simplifying everything, it is one of the best things you can do if you have kids, look at every part of your life and simplify it. I look forward to more.
Probably the first video of minimalism that MAKES sense for a family with more than 1 kid! Thank you! Like someone else said, a real breath of fresh air! And motivation to keep declutterring 😊
Arts & crafts and clothes has always been the hardest for me! As a teen and early 20s I had over 70 pairs of shoes and hundreds of clothes. 8 months ago we sold our home and moved into an RV. I managed to get rid of 3 large trash bags full of clothes. Slowly clearing out more. I’d love to see a homeschooling video if you don’t already have one. I’ve got 2 little ones we are homeschooling so our arts & crafts section keeps growing.
Thank you SO MUCH for this minimalism update (and YES to more videos)!!! 🙌🙌🙌 The LORD used you in the fall of 2020 to introduce me to minimalism and it absolutely set me free and changed my life in SO many ways. 💖 It is so helpful and encouraging to see how you are continuing to implement those principles as a Wife and Momma of five now. God bless you, Sarah, and keep up the GREAT WORK! 💖 PSALM 103 💖
What a nice surprise! I bumped into this video so you're back with your minimalism and a bigger family of 5 kids now😊❤ I'm glad to see your beautiful new house and the same down to earth girl with a loving family . Love and best wishes to you and your family
your minimalism principles have been by my side for years, and it is so special to see these updates as your family grows and your content style changes
I want to see more minimalism video, pretty, please. I have simplified my home. Its been wonderful. I've been living with less for 3 years now and I want to bring color back through the house. I have a blue love seat to start off with. ❤❤❤
I truly missed you Sarah❤ you are an inspiration! Could you please make a video on healthy kids foods that you are making and also mealplaning. How do you plan what to buy? I am also very interested in your capsule warderobe and how you keep in such good shape 😊😊😊have a Happy New Year! ❤ love from Uk
I guess we’re extra minimalist, I hide the kitchen utensils in the bottom cabinet and the toaster and anything else. We only have a fruit bowl, coffee maker and a base with flowers. It does feel nice not to have all of the clutter and be minimal. Only having the things you use and no doubles.
I have four kids, I homeschool as well and I'm a SAHM. I am the same with the dining room table. It must be empty minus our kids water cups. Runners and so on they just get dirty and that is just one more thing to have to clean.
Yey! Love it. Simplifying is the best. You really do have a wonderful kitchen. Our closet is very similar with how little is in it and we also have it with my husband's stuff on the left and mine on the right. My husband has work clothes (they have a uniform) on his side otherwise he wouldn't have what he has. We also only have just soap on our bathroom sink.
Sarah, I would really love to see how you organize sentimental items with children. My kids are 2 and 8 months and already I have a lot of birthday cards, art, and mementos. I don't have time to scrapbook but I don't necessarily want to pitch everything. Thanks! These kinds of videos are really helpful for moms with small kids like me.
I would looooooooove thorough, in depth home school and toy minimalism. I’m right there with you with having TONS of books and absolutely no regrets about it. But toys really sneak in so often (parades, church prizes, birthdays, strangers giving them something on the way out of Walmart, lol it’s literally endless)
Minimalism to me is just removing the Extras in your home and life that really adds extra unnecessary work or take up time that can be put somewhere with more priority.. I also get easily over whelmed ,,I also don’t buy more if I start to see storage being taken up .. I go through a monthly closet clean out and drawer /cabinet clean out removing any junk or things hardly used .. it feels soooo much better once things are back in order and there is space that can be utilized again and you keep all the things you actually like and use .
I miss the days when my kids were little and I was still in control of my kitchen 😆 Now I have teenagers who think that they can help themselves to all of my spaces.
what do you get your kids for birthdays or christmas if you celebrate it? i feel like my son has so many toys already so i never know what to do but i feel bad if i don’t get him presents so what should i be getting him instead? he’s 2. what do you do if family members get your kids a bunch of toys?
I appreciate you. I enjoyed your channel before and love it even more. I’m attempting to have less and declutter and minimize. Does this cause conflict with family? Speaking of conflict, how do you handle sibling conflicts? I’m striving for a peaceful home and to teach my children love and kindness.
Breath of fresh air to see someone who doesn't have a clinically sterile home, but yet manages to keep it orderly and beautiful!
Would love to hear more about how you handle gifting and receiving gifts around the holidays as a minimalist :)
More minimalism video, please. ✨
Id love to see a closet tour, as well as how you buy/store/sort your kids clothes!
Would love a toy minimalism video! ❤

I would love to see how you decorate as a minimalist during the holidays season to make it feel festive. I always struggle with what to do!
I need more minimalism videos on toys, decluttering clothes and minimalism groceries. Please and thank you. I mean… like what are basic things to work on to never have to buy again. I’ve missed your minimalism content so much! Thanks for a great video ❤
As a recovering sad beige mom, I absolutely LOVE this content & seeing your home. But GIRL. Where do you keep the toothbrushes?!?!
they have two more bathrooms upstairs - for the kids and master one

I love folding clothes but i get mad when other mess them up so same, hang up everything. No dressers allowed.
Do you use pants hangers or just fold them over a regular hanger? I like this idea just wondering about things like small toddler pants and shorts

You should try proofing your bread in the oven! At 90 degrees if you can it will rise very fast since it’s getting colder out
I agree with the other comments - I’d love to have minimalism content again!! I need some inspiration to keep our small space in order!
Loved this WHOLE VIDEO!! Would love for more ❤😊
Love this!! ❤️❤️ thank you for sharing!

Welcome back! I followed you years ago.
Absolutely love the minimums videos, keep em coming!
I miss the days when my kids were little and I was still in control of my kitchen 😆 Now I have teenagers who think that they can help themselves to all of my spaces.
Yes I have 8 kids half of then teens and they cook late into the night and leave me a mess 😢.
Would love more of these 😍 love some minimalism inspo!

Nice to see you again on UA-cam Sarah 🎉
Would love to see how you tackle kids rooms and keeping them minimal!

I love how real this was tbh
I’m literally obsessed with your best ❤❤❤❤❤❤
