One of my favourite cake recipes calls for green, unripe bananas. I've made it with bananas of every ''stage of ripening'' and yes, the green ones are better. So I completely agree.
@@LetThemEatGlutenFreeCake No, the green ones are much better! They give the banana taste that you are after without the overpowering sweetness of ripe bananas.
1:03 I made this banana bread using store bought gluten free self raising flour. Lo and behold 😂😂 it turned out well, nice and moist. I didnt add sugar, the natural sweetness from the bananas made it sweet.. This will be my go to recipe at home..Thank you for the recipe.
Ugh I always fall off the GF bandwagon but when it gets closer to Fall my thyroid starts acting up. So here I am back to your recipes because they are thee best!
Made this recipe and OH MY GOD! sooo good! I just need to use less flour next time cause it was just a little dense with this new flour I’m trying out. But it was oh so good! Using your recipes for all my gluten free baking now! 💖
I use a small amount of high fructose corn syrup instead of coconut oil and buttermilk instead of water, definitely not as healthy but lord forgive me do it taste good
@@pamela7211 , I've made banana bread using almond flour. It's a different recipe though. Almond flour is denser, so I incorporate it with tapioka flour to thicken the texture. It's yummy too with almond flour..

My pleasure!
Your loaf looks so impressive--no area at the bottom with dense, uncooked batter. Looking forward to giving this a try!

Awe, thanks so much!!!
What do you think the connection to gluten is?
What does it ‘acting up’ consist of in your case, if I may ask? Curious for my own circumstances.
I just made this today, beautiful loaf, best I have ever made. I added chocolate chips and toasted walnuts.
Awesome!! I am so glad it turned out so great!
Thank you for the recipe, I’ve just made it and I love it ❤

Kim can u tell me where and what to buy for heat activated baking powder…I am gathering ing to try that lovely bread for my daughter in law
I buy it on Amazon and it's linked right in the recipe card for whichever recipes I use it in 😊
Can eggs be replaced with Flex eggs or something like egg replacer from Bobs RM?
Could you replace the white sugar with coconut sugar?
Can almond or coconut flour be used in place of the other flour you used? 🤔
Unfortunately, no it can't.

It's yummy too with almond flour..
I don't have any coconut oil, can I use canola oil instead?
Absolutely!
What is the name of the flour please ?
I use my own flour blend, the recipe for which is linked within this recipe and also on the main menu of my website.
Y isn't the recipe in the caption? It's hard to follow only cuz I gotta start over alot.
The recipe is always linked in the description box below the video
Hello, thanks for the amazing recipe 😊 just one thing it think you are missing the water measurements on your blog recipe
Why aren't we calling this cake? I mean, eggs, oil, sugar... It sure isn't a bread! 😅 Excuse my ignorance.
Haha! I agree, but for whatever reason, it's called bread.
