That chapel alter is incredible! I love how excited the S. W/ Love guy is getting as he discovers more & more in this palazzo! That would be the kind of estate agent I would buy an Italian house from!
Thank you Dauvo for the wonderful tour. Last week was the first time I actually saw the video of you and Davide in Galatina. I have been following Salento with Love ever since. A land not only full of history but magical as well. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it! I'm enjoying sharing the experience. even when being there alone (not in this case) I feel like I can enjoy it with someone. Since we are living from one zoom meeting to another right now, it's not much different than what is the reality today! Hope to see you in Italy soon!
Breathtaking. The alter, the portal surrounds, the columns, all of it really. I love to imagine the daily life of people who lived during that time in the area. Like Davide and yourself, I would/could spend hours looking in amazement at the architecture. I am absolutely fascinated by the history of it all. Between you and Davide, that I've decided that Puglia is probably where we will eventually settle for a second home.
You guys are a great team, please keep these video's going, I just love the mansion or Villa's. Also, do you have anything near or on the Beaches or anything along the coast. Thank you👍🏽
This property is spectacular! It would be an absolute dream to wander through and imagine what was and what could be. As an occasional historic property trespasser myself, I believe it is more expedient to politely ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission. Bravo!
A like button isn’t enough for This masterpiece. It deserves a love ❤️ button! Wow! I posted a comment on one of your videos a few months back and referred you to Salento with love. I’m so glad you guys got together your joint videos are amazing! You both should get into a side gig into tour guides 😊 loving the content.
In one of you videos you mentioned the contamination problem near one of these towns. I don't remember the name off the town. please Something sounded like Toronto. Please remind.
I think you are referring to Taranto. There is a huge industrial plant on the west side of town. In the past they had issues with pollution, I know a lot of people had to move away due to job loss, but I think much of that area is still being used... I've driven by twice this year and there are these two giant buildings that I believe are canopy's to cover powder materials

Last summer I took a old dirty electric fan in the garbage. Long story short in the evening there where 2 carabinieri that came to our place and told us we needed to be at there office at 9am. I got assigned a lawyer and was going to have to go to the tribunal. I thought it was so stupid. The carabinier I told me (kind of yelling) that they did not have in there law a sentence that would say we are closing our eyes do not do this again. FINALLY I receive a letter from the tribunal telling me my case was dismissed. Honestly Italy had other fish to fry. I am 60 and now am a bit scared when I see the carabinieri. Be careful!
I understand, I've had more run ins with them than I would like to admit. Stupid things that could have been avoided with a better understanding of Italian. I understand what you mean though. Thanks for sharing your story!
So, two "carabinieri" would have come to your house, would have asked you to show up at the police station at 9 am and even disputed a crime (which one?) Later filed by the "public prosecutor"? For a broken and dirty fan ?! To be 60 you still have a lot of imagination. Surely there is to worry about the Carabinieri, who however do not deal with waste and certainly in Italy we do not send the Carabinieri to people's homes - they have much more to do - for a refusal in the wrong place, but a very high fine to pay within 30 days it will surely arrive, by mail.

Amazing palazzo. However, isn't this video proof of illegal trespassing? I'm sure you're hoping the carabinieri won't see this video, as you then might get your night in jail after all?
There have been a few comments hereIn regarding you guys taking the liberty of wandering around inside a property belonging to someone else with no permission from the owner(s). Despite the dubious thrill some viewers seem to get from this, It devalues your obvious integrity.
