One-and-Forsaken It’s just because Robert Trujillo often does ‘ape like’ movements on stage and Stevie did that aswell. And because Trujillo once did a solo while only plucking the open E string and just tuning down. I thought Stevie did something like it aswell.

That is a beautiful musical instrument! Love the color, too! For the record, used to do bends on my bass, and my guitar strings were 13s. I've had people pick up .my guitar and say "How do you do bends on this? The strings are like rebar!"... LoL
I found if you look at Lemmy's style of bass strumming, he always misses the low E string so it didn't sound too muddy (as well as dialling the bass settings down and the treble settings up on his amp)

I broke a string off of my guitar a few weeks ago tuning it and I didn’t know how to restring it so I just started playing my bass guitar and seeing if I could shred on it this video helped me see how fun bass guitar can be
