They're a great band. Second and third albums in particular. Fantastic live. Wide variety of styles mixed in but it always sounds like them. Most underrated band out there in my view. If you ever get a chance to see them live, do it.

I quite like them but was a bit annoyed they flew all the way to London UK to make this video at my local bus stop and no one told me. Cash has an interesting use of guitar augmentation and she seems pretty rock & roll. Agree though this was a bad choice for Band Maid support, Otoboke Beaver, MTH or Eastern Youth perhaps but Band maid are not punk.
I’ve really enjoyed starcrawler for a while now - the lead singer has an iggy pop-ozzy-esque feel to her. She’s not there to look pretty. It’s a shame you didn’t watch them live - she spits blood like no one’s business! Some great songs to check out include “she gets around” “good time girl” and “roadkill”
I like their song Good Time Girl, has a great sleazy guitar riff. Their other stuff is not as interesting.
I discovered Amyl and the Sniffers about the same time, and I like them much better.
They covered Tom Petty's "I need to know", and blow it out of the water.
Highly recommend.
I liked that, a bit of a modern Eggy Pop.
One of the few live acts I have seen that I actively, viscerally despised from the very first note.

They opened for Band-Maid in Denver, they offended a lot of folks, I figured that's what rock n Roll is supposed to do. Starcrawler is a bit of theater, without the video there's not much to them in my opinion
The visuals turned me off. The "song" was repetitive AF. I got bored pretty quick. I saw them open for Band-Maid and their stage show was just as disturbing and droning. (Never understood why Band-Maid would choose THIS band to open for them)
Saiki liked them. I don't know why. But I don't know why people like some other highly-hyped bands either. Go figure.
