I love the way you reflect on it afterwards. About treating a conflict with care and empathy for the other person and about healthy communication in a relationship.
The more you listen to Bill Burr, the more you will learn about his background and his sense of humor. I freely admit to occasionally being childish in past relationships. I appreciated your discussion afterwards. Nice reaction.
Yeah and to be exact it's actually even 2+10 minutes but the 10 is personal penalty while the 2 will hurt your team directly (I mean that if you were on the ice which you would need to be to get that penalty you have a purpose and place in the roster and when you're serving your personal penalties which also includes a 5 minute penalty for fighting your team will miss your effort during that time) which you know assuming you're another hockey fan. Regards from Finland 🇫🇮
I seem to be finding only your messages/replies interesting enough to reply myself but I'm not targeting you, I promise 😅 But that was exactly how I saw that movie when it came out, as a horror film and partly as a documentary on a historic event. The love story in it was very much a forced side story in my opinion and it seemed to be there only to appeal to the female audience so the movie's script was done in a very clever way to appeal to the masses. Bill Burr broke it down very well from the male perspective and was able to do his job and make it funny enough for us to laugh. But whenever I hear someone describing it as a romantic movie I always just laugh because like I said, I see the love story as an unnecessary and even a quite poorly done side story.
That Irish temper 😂❤ from a woman...he's not wrong. I appreciate the point of examining all sides & the laughs. Great convo/reaction, nice for you to share your perspectives - relationships are work sometimes & communication always.
I love how open-minded you guys are, as Bill can come off as a bit harsh to a new observer... especially with such a sensitive subject. He is a Legend.
This is one of my favorite Bill Burr clips of all time. Bill is just a straight shooter and tells it like it is but also does it with such talented humor that will also make you think. This was my recommendation a few weeks back, thank you. I'd new you guys would enjoy it. Your reaction was awesome thank you!
Bill Burr is one of the most insightful comedians out there. He’s so on point with his observational humour. It’s well worth checking out his sets from his younger years to the present day. It’s an evolution of his understanding of himself and the human experience. Full of life lessons… absolutely.👍
If u want to see him, roast an entire hostile crowd. The Philly rant. He spent the time he had to roast the entire city, cause he was pissed how they were treating the previous comics . So he let them know. G.o.a.t.
Truly a GOAT moment for him. A shame it wasn't recorded in HD. The fact that it was filmed with a potato and is still referenced regularly speaks to how amazing that was
@@technomad1770 Well the guy has been dead for what, 40 years? His name doesn't get mentioned much anymore. Either way when you think of Led Zeppelin John Bonham's name was almost always 3rd, behind Plant and Page.
As usual, this was a very enjoyable reaction, and I always appreciate your thoughtful, intelligent analysis and commentary. Much love from this American; may God continue to bless and keep you. Stay safe.
Good discussion after watching the video, communication is the key to every relationship. Continue watching Bill burr, he takes real life scenarios and puts a comedic spin on it. He covers pretty much everything from race, politics, relationships, you name it. Anyway, good reaction you two.
Really hope you keep reacting to Bill Burr. He is one of the greatest of all time (some say the greatest). And there is so much material. There are probably 20 clips like this and every one is funny. Very hard to make a recommendation because they're all so good. Carlin can be funny, too, but for my taste he's a bit too preachy. And Chapelle can be super funny, too; but sometimes you have to wait a long time before the punchline comes. BTW. Bill Burr used to write for Dave Chapelle for his TV show. Nobody has the LPM (laughs per minute) of Bill Burr. He cut his teeth on doing comedy in Boston, which apparently is renowned for having super tough audiences. So when he goes after someone in the crowd, it's from having to deal with the spitballs from hecklers earlier in his career. It's just the way it's done in Boston.
Oh if you kicked this you'll enjoy all the other clips there are out there. Bill Burr is probably the best stand up comedian, him and Dave Chapelle. Look forward to watching you react to more of Bill's comedy
Glad y'all watched a Bill Burr video! He's absolutely hilarious and makes you think too just like George Carlin. You really can't go wrong with either one of them.
Have you noticed that ALL the most requested comedians on reaction channels are the thinking ones? Dave Chappelle, George Carlin, Bill Burr. It gives me some small hope in humanities future. It means the big guys havent stupified everyone completely just yet. Not even in the entertainment sphere.
Women have a lot of rights that men don’t, and what’s worse is they are not afraid to use it. That’s why Bill is so funny, because everyone knows it’s all true.
Nice to see your discussion after the reaction. Understanding the fact that men and women are different and think in different ways is KEY for a good relationship. The fact that you guys have been together for more than a decade tells me you allowed each other to figure things out by also learning through each other and handle it in a mature way. You guys have worked on your relationship and seem to be very happy together. Bill Burr has a very funny but also serious comedy scetch where he talks about marrige.
The thing about Burr is he says out loud the things most people feel in tense times and he says them in a way that is simultaneously hilarious, thought-provoking, and genuine. His magic is he is able to do this without artifice, actual hate, or ill-intent. The more you look into his life the more you realize he is a solid human being with a huge heart and helps alot of people.
I love the fact that you two actually REACTED to the video. Most people doing reaction videos laugh, or make 1 or 2 short comments, and then the video is over. You thought about it, talked about it, and gave us something good. Way to go! Please keep it up!!
Part of the brilliance of Bills act, is that he isnt just standing there telling jokes, its a full blown acting performance where he tells his stories/jokes like an actor.
Irrespective of gender, if someone does something worthy of being hit, he/she is getting hit. Literally everything in this world can be a potential for being hit.
You are a very nice, mature couple. I was grateful to hear the comment about women sometimes arguing simply to put their partner in the same bad mood that the woman is feeling. It's not right, but it's understandable the way you described it. Certain arguments are reserved for intimate partners, but even then, there should be a high level of respect and a willingness to listen throughout the disagreement.
Welcome to the wonderful world of Bill Burr. No matter the subject, Bill will always bring you to the point of thinking about hard truths, kind of like George Carlin, laugh and learn
I love Bill Burr! He comes from a kinda rough background. He is married to the girlfriend he talks about in this bit and they have a child. He always makes the best points and he says things that most people are to afraid to say but we are all thinking.
He is very direct. You need to catch his helicopter story. It has an animated video illustrating it that is very funny. Kids think relationships are easy until they are in one. I was married for 37 years and it was a constant progression of compromise. Women are social organizers and men are often isolationists. His skit "White people need Lotion" is also a lot of fun.
"A lot of people argue and fight, especially woman, just to put you in the same mood for you to feel that pain by relating. Understand me through what I am going through. I am going to make you mad...because I am mad...because I want you to feel by relating, by feeling my emotions, my pain. That's why I think woman do such things." 💡moment for me. I always wondered about why some arguments seem to be about nothing and go in circles. This statement was a like a lightbulb turning on that makes a lot of sense. It gives me a new perspective on how to approach such situations. Really would love to explore this more in my relationships. Thanks for the inspiration. This was a profound statement, expressed simply, which one can only arrive at after serious and thoughtful introspection. Thank you for that.
It was really refreshing watching a couple laugh and for the female to not take it too seriously. Thanks for the reaction! You just gained a subscriber.

This is a really insightful discussion. I've seen a lot of reactions to this routine and everyone says how funny it is and how he makes a lot of sense, even though it's exaggerated. But I feel like I just got a counseling session
Walla I randomly clicked on this video and I may have found a new favorite couple. The analysis after the clip is hundreds of times better than any other channel I have seen reacting to this. I am lucky to find you. Thank you.
Darkest part of what Bill Burr was saying in the beginning. It was found out that these shows that talked about domestic violence actually caused more harm than good. Abusive men and women would beat their partners more frequently and harder just because the show was on and talking about it.
Bill Burr is the very best as you guys are. Glad to see you both are doing so well and showing maturity at your younger ages towards relationships. Jim Rodgers
Bill is really relatable. At first he comes off as rude and brush but then he will break his point down and drive it home with good examples that make you think and realize that actually he is not wrong. 😊
The woman he roasted halfway through actually said it's our right not answer him right and apparently her and her partner were whisper arguing for the rest of the show
Billy bold head burr comedy is not for everyone, but for those that are open minded and can see the comedy from life can understand him and how real he talks about life situations.. i love yall got to react to this comic, love that both compared it to your relationship
There will always be conflicts between two people. What matters is how those conflicts are handled. Bill has a good handle on the human condition and how we approach things. Sometimes we approach things from a crazy place and he always wants to know why we do it.
Nice reaction, and breakdown! Really appreciated it. And I have to chime in that you're right - about not trying to project your emotions towards eachother, it can - and will - be understood by correct communication anyways! And - whoever is in the wrong will simply apologize and admit he or she was in the wrong, and do his or her best not to repeat it! That's the answer to how to truly have a good and successful relationship! Both to reflect - and to 'cool down': because I know nothing good will come out of continuing the argument when I'm in that "reptilian state"....and also - those women with whom I've had long-term relationships with have both understood and accepted it. Comedy about real stuff makes it more humorous, everyone relates.
