Food is fuel but when creating a dish it's basically an art, & it's wonderful.
    Thank you for sharing.

I love falafel! I've been eating it my whole life as my father is from the middle east. If you have an Arabic food store near you, you can probably find a tool that they use to form the falafel ball ;) makes is easier to get consistency in size.

Love this recipe, I haven't made falafel in so long.
Do you remember the name of the falafel place in Germany? Greetings from over here :)

Hi Elena! So good. There are many, but my favorite was a little stand in Warnemunde.

Hey Michelle.... was actually wanting to make falafels again for a long time but was being so lazy....lol....thanks for the video ... just soaked the chickpeas right now...😜
One flavour enhancement if you would like to try would be roasted cumin powder instead of normal cumin powder, a little bit of lime and roasted chickpea flour instead of whole wheat flour....(indian kitchens do have these two on hand....) you can try it in your falafels if you feel like.... just a suggestion...
But otherwise also it absolutely tastes awesome with the basic ingredients as well.....
Thanks for sharing and motivating me to get up and make them finally😅😂❤
    Love and Regards,
    Juhi🇮🇳

@@veganmichele What's the difference if I use canned? Does the dried taste better?

    • @veganmichele
      @veganmichele  Рік тому +2

Dried does taste better but I’ve used canned as well and it still taste great. Just make sure to really dry them off thoroughly.

The balls wouldn't form right, I noticed the mixture was on the wet side. What do you think I didn't do right?
    Would appreciate your comment, thanks.

Hi George, you could add a bit more of the flour to thicken it up but this is the reason I recommend the dried chickpeas. Canned will work but they need to be thoroughly dried off😊

It's better to steam cook the falafel for 20 - 25mins before air frying them, otherwise they are too dry.

Deferent than the original Palestinian falafel , the Egyptian falafel is made from Vava beans ,
