The way Buddy looks at Jerry when the latter has brass-knuckled him is a subtle expression, mixing surprise and “good on yeh, mate. You learned.”
A strange scene to be moved by, like Will Kane’s defiantly, sadly, throwing his sheriff’s badge in the dirt at the end of High Noon.

Of course it pissed him off, and I really got my ass badly kicked. But not after wounding his shoulder with my bite. I was doing anything I can to fight back, but in the end I did loss the fight. Had it not been for people separating us I would have ended up in the hospital. But after that incident, the big guy left me alone. He never even looked at me anymore. See, that is the thing about Bullies. They will never pick on someone who will fight them back. I am not recommend that you act recklessly as I did. But at least make the bully know you will fight back. It will at least make them think about what they are doing.
As for the big guy? Well he did graduate, joined the police, but got kicked out after his wife finally had the courage to sue his ass because he was hurting her. He did end up serving jail time

Hell even the 2 biggest in our school brawled once and after that they were friends for the first time. Gained some respect for each other I guess.

Honestly In my opinion this is best school fight Scene of all time
    The crowd
    Buddy Taking out The security
    And the Principal
And the fact that this scene is like a UFC/Boxing match
Also with some WWE aspects such as the cars being used as weapons (slamming each other against them)
And the use of Brass Knuckles.
And the way the 2 actors fight each other like UFC Fighters.
This movie should've won the Oscar for best fight Scene.
And Jerry Wins the fight With a Lethal Punch to the face.

THIS...this was how you handled a bully!
Don't get it twisted, I understand getting a teacher or hall guard or principal is the right thing to do, but sometimes, just sometimes, you CAN'T!
You have to stand up for yourself and fight! Win, lose, it doesn't matter.
Buddy made a valid point to Jerry when the latter asked to call off the fight.
Buddy said, "You didn't even try. How does that feel?"
Losing a fight is one thing, but having people call you a "coward" because you didn't even try, is all together a different kind of feeling.

I wasn't very big but I never let anyone put a hand on me and get away with it..the last fight I had was in homeroom, one of the school bullies pushed me from behind knocking me down, he was pretty tall, the whole class laughed, he was laughing too, I picked up a desk and chair combo, like we had back then, and slammed him in the back of the head, he fell crying in pain, so I hit him a second time, yelling dont ever touch me again, everybody got really quiet, the teacher walked in about 5 minutes later, No one said a word
