Sunflowers are my favorite. This turned out really beautiful. I love it. Love the colors and the placement of the floral designs and just everything about it.
Note to self - pause all videos from Twitch prior to drinking a beverage. At 5:38 I literally sprayed hot tea! Facial expression = a solid 10. I appreciate how genuine Twitch is, always keeping it real. In the beginning this piece was sketchy, crunchy and wet. The end-result is stunning. Twitch literally brought this piece back from it's demise. Kudos to Twitch for another resurrection.
It’s beautiful. I must admit that I was getting a bit skeptical right about the time you said, “Trust the process.” The transfers and their placement are the perfect treatment for the piece. Nice work, Twitch.
You're right about the drying press I think or maybe a steaming cupboard to get creases out of delicate fabric. It'd be class to know what it was used for and what house it started it's life in. It was ugly as sin for sure but it's far from it now. Girl, you worked some witchery on that. Well done.
She turned into a gorgeous swan. If you want to extend the top just a bit, use some trim and paint it to match the bottom. Pretty sure the top is Silky Oak, a lovely Aussie timber. Great work as always. I didn't realise you were a Qldr like Tarnya and Breimagined. Harrisville took me back to my childhood.
Wow. Fantastic makeover. Very impressed. Thank you. I’m just starting to redo furniture. I’m a 78 yo gal from a small town in Oregon USA. Kinda a new lease on life. Again thank you.
Wow, what a transformation. completely loved every choice you've made with this piece and I am sure it will go to it's forever home in no time at all 🥰
This piece reminds me of an American pie safe. The ventilation would usually be in the doors, though. Pies would be baked and cooled inside the pie safe. That way, the baker could keep flies out of their pies as well as tempted fingers? Just a guess? Now, I am referring to an antique piece. They are in demand these days as much as the old dry sinks are. I really like your outcome of the piece. It's hard to believe you pulled that off in a day! Great job! 🙂👍
I wonder if it was cheese store cupboard, heavy cheese wheels to slide out. , keep it from the mice's but needing vent to stop it or make it go mouldy? Love your work. are you in SA?
That was a cabinet for stereo's...each sliding drawer would have had glass on it...back in the 70's, 80's etc a descent home stereo had multiple pieces and these cabinets offered people a chance to own different makers equipment that didn't look like the others and one wouldn't need to see all the dials, lights and flickering lights, they could also put a VHS player inside and a TV on top or beside it, some tv's were in the wall above...depending upon the year the home was built...
Wasn’t sure where you were going with your duck! WOW! Just subscribed to your channel! You made a freaking swan! Trust the process. I guess I will from now on!
Twitch, I just love watching you! You are clever, creative and funny! Love this piece, so pretty and it has so much personality! Haha and yes, pretty much everything I own (clothes) is now covered in paint.😍
you had me soooo worried, i was talking to you! guurrrl, what are you thinking? it was looking to me like you were trashing it!!!! and voila! it is a swan!!! you amaze me and alwats amuse me!!
Tiger Oak, It is achieved most often when the oak is quarter sawn. The log goes down the sled to be cut and then it is turned one quarter and sawn again. Not done today because there is a lot less usable lumber produced. By the way all words that are spoken, even for the first time, are still words. They may be new, but they are still words.
Hi ya Twitch. Oh Boy you were right it Sure was an ugly duckling 😩 . But Boy Oh Boy Look at it NOW !❤️ IT ! ❤️ the Transfer’s Aswell ! Well done girl Good Luck in the Challenge 👍
Sunflowers are my favorite. This turned out really beautiful. I love it. Love the colors and the placement of the floral designs and just everything about it.

Turned out very cool. I like that u painted the shelves white. Nice contrast.
It’s beautiful. I must admit that I was getting a bit skeptical right about the time you said, “Trust the process.” The transfers and their placement are the perfect treatment for the piece. Nice work, Twitch.
I’d go with body parts. And yes it’s definitely ugly. Finished piece is amazing
Wow!!!! What a huge difference!!!! Very very special!!!
That is a shocking transformation! Wow! Gorgeous! Definitely a swan! 💖 The entire look & that wood! …🤩
Ooof..was it a chicken coup in its former life?..lol much better looking now.
Absolutely beautiful. It still has that old vintage feel. You did a great job! 😍
Never doubted it. Simply stunning
Very nice I really like that color your chose the top turned out gorgeous. Also noticed how you use and old paint bottle as a painting dish brilliant!
Just beautiful! I was a little unsure about the rough texture but you strategically placed it and the transfers made the piece.
So beautiful. I love what you did with it. That green is so calming
This piece turned out absolutley beautiful!
Great work on this piece. Love the way you take something that doesn't look like much and turn it into art.

I thought it was a pie safe/cooling rack... 🤔
I would look great too with some pretty wood legs
Mate! I love your authenticity so much. The wood on the top of these piece - stunning!!
That's dramatic! Beautiful!
Wonderful vision/transformation in this "ugly duckling challenge" . . . love the transfers and new interior 😊
Ooh! That top is gorgeous! Wasn't sure about the texture part, but turned out so nice.
Maybe the shelves could be used as frame art work! Looks so good!
Thats pretty much the plan ❤
Beautiful job! Love the grain on that top.
I think from where it started, it turned out just amazing!
Paint is magical, I've always thought that even before it became the coolest! 66 here!

Like the idea of trim around the top
I love it! Everything you do looks absolutely beautiful! Good Job.
Maybe a baker's cabinet?
What a transformation! Those IOD transfers are simply gorgeous and they really set this piece off with the lovely textured background.

Wow, what a transformation. completely loved every choice you've made with this piece and I am sure it will go to it's forever home in no time at all 🥰
This is gorgeous, Twitch! Love the way you mix rough with soft. I also love the contrast between the interior and exterior on this cabinet.🌸

I really like your outcome of the piece. It's hard to believe you pulled that off in a day! Great job! 🙂👍
I love that idea! Someone else also suggested wheels of cheese?
Both sound like a possibility
I edited my comment because I left off before complimenting your work. 🤦♀️
This piece is awesome. Have saved this video because I think you did a fantastic job on this piece. 👏
Very nice...I love the color and transfers!
I wonder if it was cheese store cupboard, heavy cheese wheels to slide out. , keep it from the mice's but needing vent to stop it or make it go mouldy? Love your work. are you in SA?
Thats a genius idea, I would never have thought of that. I'm in QLD 😁
Your guess is better than mine. I thinking some kind of hatchery. The vent is the clue.
WOW it's so sweet 😍 You've taken distressing to a delightful new level.
LOL I was questioning the chicken house. But it turned out beautiful. Good job!!
Love your work🥰

Terrific restoration! Beautiful transfers.
Those sliding shelves are exciting. This piece has a lot of potential from the start. The MDF of that length will sag in a short while.

If I was in the right country, I could see using it as a TV stand with storage. I’d buy it in a heartbeat!
