Twitch, I only found your channel this year and I love your work. Having done a few pieces myself ( for myself ) over the years I know how much time and work just restoring/flipping takes you. To then also film, edit & narrate everything I imagine must double the workload. All that, a family & a second job is A LOT. With the added pressure of having to upload something new every week/fortnight/month to UA-cam it’s no wonder you are exhausted and burned out. So don’t be so hard on yourself. Hopefully at some stage in the future you will be in a place where you can resume. You're so incredibly creative and it would be a real shame for you to not carry that on in some form. We all have life changes and life paths. I recently retired from a 30 yr career in nursing because I was given a wonderful opportunity to work in an easier setting. It has been scary. I feel your pain in a kindred way. My wife and I loved crafting. We loved being creative and we decided to try going to shows. We sold like crazy, both of us. Then their was the praise and friendships created with admirers and fellow crafters. What really killed us is Covid. Even though we can go about we choose to order. I see shows come up but I don't go any more. Other crafters are discouraged too. Your ordeal far exceeds mine and my heart goes out to you and your family. Please stay creative!

I’ve been there…done that. Awe Young Lady!! Understand completely!! You’ve been the funky part of my soul!! I’m now 59 hrs old-August 4, 1964. I have 3 grown children and 1 grandson!! It is hard to spread yourself so far!! The “go to person?” Got it!! Gonna tell a short story or two. 1. When my kids were younger… yelling “Mom, mom!!” All 3? I said “I’m going to change my name!” My saucy only 7:187:18 daughter-she was 9-10 hrs old- placed her hand on her hip and kicked her hip out and said “What’s your new name?” Lol!! 2. Can’t fight them, then join them!! Was driving had all 3 in backseat of Corrolla-2 in car seats and oldest in middle!! Absolutely out of control with them, at breaking point 7:18 with all the arguing!! Pulled over kinda fast and shut down car!! Then I did the boo-hoo whine-“loud & proud”!! All 3 went silent!!! I said to them..”I’m the driver! Trying to get all of us Home safely!! Let me know when y’all are leafed for me to drive home?” Sat there for another 5 mins in silence. Asked if they were ready? He’s they were and got home safe!! I was about to go out of my mind!! Know that I’m a stranger to you, but have Loved Your Vibe!!! I would’ve bought several pieces of yours, but live in Georgia-Athens (Home of football team-BullDawgs!!) & you are in Australia!! Think about how much relief you will feel when you no longer have the pressure of getting a project finished and a video edited. My advice is (not that you need a complete stranger’s advice) to take some time for yourself and still be creative. I wish the best for you and your family.
Give yourself the grace you would give a friend! Do your furniture for fun when you have some free time. It may be awhile, but don't get rid of too much stuff. I feel your pain in a kindred way. My wife and I loved crafting. We loved being creative and we decided to try going to shows. We sold like crazy, both of us. Then their was the praise and friendships created with admirers and fellow crafters. What really killed us is Covid. Even though we can go about we choose to order. I see shows come up but I don't go any more. Other crafters are discouraged too. Your ordeal far exceeds mine and my heart goes out to you and your family. Please stay creative!
I will miss you. I completely understand though. Being a mom/ wife/daughter/employee/homemaker AND and artist is hard work. Trying to be everything to everyone is exhausting. I’ve been there…done that. But the best thing is that your artistry NEVER goes away, it might go dormant for awhile, and after you have raised your family and done your duty to your loved ones, your Art will be there waiting for you. I know this because I was you and now am a Grandmother and my Art has returned to me like an old friend. It will for you also. God bless you Twitch, you are a very rare gem.~Debbi

Wow Twitch! That’s big!! Well done. I’m sure the toughest part of this was working your way to the decision. Once a (big) decision has been made everything else just falls into place. So I hope you are feeling a sense of relief and are de-stressing a bit already. I congratulate you on recognising what your priorities are and making the necessary changes to succeed. Awe Young Lady!! Understand completely!! You’ve been the funky part of my soul!! I’m now 59 hrs old-August 4, 1964. I have 3 grown children and 1 grandson!! It is hard to spread yourself so far!! The “go to person?” Got it!! Gonna tell a short story or two. 1. When my kids were younger… yelling “Mom, mom!!” All 3? I said “I’m going to change my name!” My saucy only 7:18 7:18 daughter-she was 9-10 hrs old- placed her hand on her hip and kicked her hip out and said “What’s your new name?” Lol!! 2. Can’t fight them, then join them!! Was driving had all 3 in backseat of Corrolla-2 in car seats and oldest in middle!! Absolutely out of control with them, at breaking point 7:18 with all the arguing!! Pulled over kinda fast and shut down car!! Then I did the boo-hoo whine-“loud & proud”!! All 3 went silent!!! I said to them..”I’m the driver! Trying to get all of us Home safely!! Let me know when y’all are leafed for me to drive home?” Sat there for another 5 mins in silence. Asked if they were ready? He’s they were and got home safe!! I was about to go out of my mind!! Know that I’m a stranger to you, but have Loved Your Vibe!!! I would’ve bought several pieces of yours, but live in Georgia-Athens (Home of football team-BullDawgs!!) & you are in Australia!! Twitch, I will miss your videos. It is a good thing that you are putting yourself and your family first. Think about how much relief you will feel when you no longer have the pressure of getting a project finished and a video edited. My advice is (not that you need a complete stranger’s advice) to take some time for yourself and still be creative. I wish the best for you and your family.

Give yourself the grace you would give a friend! Do your furniture for fun when you have some free time. It may be awhile, but don't get rid of too much stuff. It is a difficult balance to be a mother and make money! Hang in there, I will miss your funny creative soul!PS My furniture isn't selling well in the US either.
