The NBA has seen a ton of iconic dunks and dunkers, and some of them can be identified Just by their sound or silhouettes. In this test we set up a little wooden figurine to see if You can guess which dunks they represent, OH, and of course I go into some details about the players and the dunks. Its not NBA 2k but it's still fun

Chambers won ASG MVP in ‘87 not ‘89. The game was played in Seattle and Chambers was a Sonic at the time. He still deserved the MVP though.

We all can agree that the NBA is in a good place and doesn't need help on all levels ( Don't Hate- I'm Aware That Statement Is Beyond Broad)- At the same time, we all couldve benefited( Including the League) from 3/5 more years of a healthy, hungry and focused D. Rose. I had the pleasure to witness this incredible athlete play college ball in my backyard(Memphis). Its almost like Tiger fans had a extra season to enjoy D. Rose's freakish abilities before the rest of the basketball world took notice. His trajectory was somewhere past the sun and was a for sure, can't miss, bet the house on it, sure fire top level NBA superstar and future Hall of Famer. At the height of his career- he was competing with "King James" on every level that comes with being the top player in the NBA. The game winning shots and dunk highlights from this guy became routine and it never got old!!! Then, in a blink - injuries came into the picture.Then the ugly truth of time appeared while the league and NBA world continued on, only to become strong as ever. True fans hoped and anticipated that D. Rose would return 100% to the promising superstar he was destined to be. Hell, there are still a few of D. Rose "lifers" still have hope that he will return to the old D. Rose.... F#%K!!!!! D. ROSE was the F'N Truth!!!

one of the best yet. nice change of pace with this one, kinda like a d-rose herky jerk drive to the hole. except, of course, you actually convert when it counts.
at first i thought the duncan pose was stansbury's statue of liberty dunk, but upon further review, the statue of liberty dunk was actually an exciting and expressive athletic motion. i mean, it is widely remembered for its erect posture, but that may speak more to the erroneous nature of our historical memory as basketball fans. aside from stansbury's vertically splayed dunking arm, the rest of him was not especially rigid. duncan's dunk tasted like paper.
nba years = brilliant. but why the need to be so precise with the formula? let's just call it like we see it. 52 y.o. vince carter. 67 y.o. dirk. 19 y.o. steph.
shawn kemp. i always forget about that dunk, but seriously it's one of the most enjoyable moments of my life... the pointing was quintessentially kemp. you're spot on with your description of his fluid dunking/reactions.
