Why? Watching movies and sports is my escape from everyday stress and responsibilities. So is watching this tho, but my point is that all these personalities can and should coexist.
I have followed this guy since he started on you tube ,what he accomplishes with so little in the way of tools and a good forge is amazing how anybody can give a thumbs own is truly a nasty person

I really wish you would grind the edges of your striking anvil down. The mushrooming on the edge is very dangerous.
That and the lack of eye protection on some videos like this would be my only complaint, I don't want to see anyone who get hurt.
in the traditional ways, it's used to scrape-off the forge scales so that filing/manual stone honing could be done and then the heat treating will be carried out. we call that here in southern PH, "sudsud" and the file as "limbas". Nice work Seth and Dejo, and also the amazing KK Daily team!

Great tool!! This I must try! 👍👏 This type is better than the Draw knife style, I think. The cutter can be much harder without fear of the holder breaking, the blade can be easily replaced and also, the power appears to be more easily controlled. I love it! 😁

Nice grinder technique. I call that blocking with a body grinder. Your the first I've saw on UA-cam block sand with a grinder.

I thini i think honong the edge to mirror finish would make it durable and efficeitn a rough grind in my knowledge tends to have rough teeth if you zoom in with a microscope those are weak spot and since you are cutting metal with metal it might dull fast still its your tool your way m

Como é possível um ferro temperado raspar outro ferro temperado até ficar liso ???
Tempera com temperatura diferente(mais frio mais dura), composição diferente, o raspador deve ser uma liga bem mais dura, com mais carbono e possivelmente manganês.

What a usefull tool! I love it!
The videos are interesting and seeing the performance of skills motivates them to do so. unfortunately the untidy and neglected conditions of the work area leave much to be desired. being poor and having few resources does not imply neglecting order and good security practices.
I somewhat agree but i have worked in production line here in the states and i have seen the opposite. Some coworker have thier work space in absolute clean and tidy state, yet they hardly get anything done, production wise.
