This simple method of making a jointer from a plainer, gets around many of the not so safe or stable builds I've viewed on UA-cam to mount the plainer. First person I've seen using the angle iron method that guarantee 90 degrees for the fence. Great design I will use this method for my build and add a wooden frame for durability below your design this will inprove my current jig.
