- I started weightlifting a few years back during a mid-life crisis as a way to get into shape and started doing the Starting Strength routine by Mark Rippetoe. After becoming more involved in squats, bench and deadlifting I discovered an elusive club that is somewhat of an entry level status in the world of powerlifting. I wanted to get into this magical club but I was around 120lbs short so I started Jonnie Candito's 6 Week Strength Program to help get me there.

My strength is minimal compared to a lot of the young bloods on the youtube but everyone needs to start somewhere.

should you have a spotter when you are bench lifting?
Nathan Sprague The rack I used has safety bars just in case. I went for 286 and totally dropped the bar before lockout and the safety bars caught it.
We got a bunch of kids that in our school that's are in the 900s in in the 700s rn
700 is garbage
My squat and deadlift alone is 785 and I dont even consider myself to be strong.
