- Ploughman’s scones in the HYSapientia 24litre air fryer cooked at 170c x 17 minutes.
These were cooked perfect and were very nice with our quiche salad 👍
Ingredients ( we halved these quantity’s to make 5 scones 👌)
450g self raising flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp caster sugar
115 g butter cubed
230g mixed cheddar
1 apple
4 or5 pickled onions
Salt pinch
Black pepper
1 egg
200ml milk

Oh graham wendy looks after you those scones look so nice with your salad quiche those scones looked really nice we got a little log burner for the yard gor when we have a summer I'm going to get 2 lounger chairs and a small table .I wasn't well on holiday I'd done too much on yhr first day trip so I just had 2 lazy days before the trip home .yesterday I went see Mike and then went a booked a holiday to paighton for 8 days I'm going on the 8th July hope yourboth well love fran xxxx

This is the one I was waiting for Graham that you mentioned in your quiche video,those scones look so good,I love a cheese scone but these are on another level with the pickled onion in them,Carol is at Rock Choir rehearsals tonight so I might just have a go at making these,I don't have an apple in the house but that won't make a lot of difference to the taste,might just add a wee bit more cheese to compensate 😁 Another great video guys and thank you for the recipe 👌👋👋👋👋

@@grahamgetsabout2672 🤣 Just got them out the air fryer and they are looking great, I made them exactly to your recipe minus the apple,I had to turn mine over after the 17 minutes as I wasn't happy with the bottom but another 4 minutes and they looked great but like we always say all air fryers are different,haven't tried them yet as I'm waiting on them cooling down but I think they will be baked right through alright 🤞🤞 Carol can do the taste test when she comes home just in case 🤣

So, I am just back from Newcastle RVI after having my bi-monthly eye jab and what is the first thing I see? Some wonderful savoury scones which look absolutely wonderfully delicious made by the amazing Wendy assisted, or should I say hindered, by Graham. I haven't come across these type of scones prior to this video, I have only ever had pf come across cheese scones. All I can say is "WHERE ARE MINE?" All food parcels greatly appreciated.
