This is easily one of the best tutorials for this type of project. No bs. Very specific and detailed instructions. No extra information needed, just focused on the job. And! It turned out great! Excellent work, not just on the project , but excellent UA-cam video!!
Hello, "Nifty Nester", great video and thank you for getting down to business and simply stating the steps. I am so tired of every utooobers having some kind of gimmick, shtick and trying to be funny, when they're just wasting my time and being extremely loquacious. Great job!!!
Oh you did this so masterfully EXCEPT for using that corrugated drain hose! That is not a legal product in USP code; the corrugations will trap so much nasty bacteria! The good news is that you can use plastic slip-joint drain tubing; it's really easy to dry fit, trim, and tighten by hand.
You are a fkn genius! I just found your channel and I love how you show that it's far from impossible to make improvements on a budget with the right planning and effort. PLUS i adore your style! ❤👏🏽
Thanks for the detailed video. I’ve never done any DIY but am wanting to do exactly this for my house. QUESTION; did you secure the dresser in any way to the wall?
Amazing job. Well done. We've just started working through ideas for our small bathroom redesign and I'm amazed at how realistic it would be to use an old chest of drawers as our bathroom vanity unit, Thank you. Can't wait for us to get started.
I've been watching a few of these and yours is the best by far. I have an old house and want to put in something more in keeping and I have just the dreseer for it. Thanks so much.
Your dresser bathroom vanity looks amazing. I'm getting ready to do the same project and was wondering how deep front to back your dresser was? Most of the ones I've looked at are about 19" deep. I was also wondering what size and brand your vessel sink is. Can't wait to start this project!:)
Thank you so much! ❤️ I watched a lot of UA-cam videos when I started doing little projects around the house. You get more comfortable with the tools as you go, and it gets easier to take on bigger projects. Also, if you know anyone in the construction business, ask for help when you get stuck! I bounce ideas off of my spouse all the time when I have an idea and I'm not sure if it'll work.
I know it hasn't been too long but how is that drain hose holding up? My drain is way off centered so this would be really helpful but I am concerned about draining/clogging with the ribbed design.
What about levelling the vanity? Did you have to shim it at all? We are finding that our floors and walls are all supremely out of level and so using an older dresser is complicated :(

I know nothing about plumbing, but I was horrified, then it got worse.
Is this an Airbnb? 🤣
Yes, big red flag there. will lead to problems eventually. As well, finding a piece with an open interior would avoid messing around with the drawers.
@@dward7458and then you won't have drawers 😂
Very detailed
Fantastic. You did an amazing job. It’s incredible what you can do with a bit of research, a lot of hard work and attention to detail.

What did you use to seal the counter top from water damage?
