- Modern vanities are garbage. Here is a great alternative: turn a vintage or antique dresser into a beautiful bathroom vanity. I try to provide enough details so you can do this on your own. Part 2 coming shortly.
This is the best how-two with the level of detail I’ve been looking for.. specifically how to estimate and consider for plumbing w drawers. Thank you!
You're very welcome!
wow I LOVE the look of a repurposed dresser into a sink that is such a cool project
We're pretty happy with how it turned out. Part 2 should be posted on Sunday.
That is really cool! I will have to get my son to watch this. He is wanting to get into doing more woodworking projects, with hopefully building a small business out of it.
Part II coming soon! This was a fun project.
I was thinking exactly the same thing and you answered all my questions of how to do it. Thank you so much!!!
Glad I could help!
So beautiful! I am getting ready to do this so I have been youtubing
I love your video best!
Thanks so much 😊
Awesome thank you very much 😊
I love this. Now to get my husband to do it 🤔😂
Good luck!
This is perfect.
How big did you make the hole in the back?
Quality! Any more tips on how to locate where to cut the drawers for each row?
Definitely make sure all the plumbing is in its final position and the cabinet is in position. If it's off even a little, you'll be cutting and trimming after the drawers are done. Which is not good!
Thankyou ! Wondering where you purchased the sink its beautiful?
My plumbing comes up through the floor. Any ideas on how to work around that
I am going to do this with an oak dresser. Your video is excellent and I think I can make it happen. Where did you get that beautiful sink? Thank you!
I think the sink was a lucky find at a garage sale. It says it was made in Mexico. I would like to know where to find more as well!
This is so cool⁉️
It's been working well for us!
Should have raised the p-trap
I am going to do this. I was planning on replacing the whole top, but I see you did not do that. Are you not concerned about water stains or warping of the wood over time?
We actually planned on putting stone on top. However, it would have been very expensive. We actually have 2 wood tops like this. We put 6 coats or so of marine grade poly on it. It's held up very well for 2 years. Obviously, we do take some care to wipe off any water, but it does protect the wood quite well.
Can U please tell me what the thing called that u cut the smaller hole with ?
Yes, that is a hole saw. They ve in various sizes and are typically stock at any local hardware store.
Part 2?
