Wow, absolutely wow. That vanity is amazing. All of the details, wife has great taste, and the preciseness with how you made it. My dream would be to be that good. Love your bathroom too. Splurging on the quartz is a great idea. Love the tip out drawer too. I have vessel sinks in my bathroom so I’m in the process of adding 12” drawers with a cutout for the drain pipe. It adds so much more storage! I had never built a drawer before or installed drawer slides. I did side mount and I thought I did a good job, but one side makes a tiny bit of noise even though it glides smoothly. Anyway, great job.
Love the extra trim around the bottom! It really makes the vanity look custom. How much time would you say this project took you? And do you have an estimate for the cost? Thanks!
@@DebtFreeDIY That $299 at HD is going to be REALLY cheap. Also, it's most likely a sink sink. Even the $599 cabinets at HD are still very cheaply made.
You still getting particle boards that will last a couple years if you take care it well and then it crumbles into pieces then you have to replace. I think the cost mostly because he have custom granit counter top and all those door hardwares. You could go cheap on those and it still last you forever. Honestly it should cost like 150$ in wood materials and 150 in premade counter top and sink
@@DebtFreeDIY yeah those quartz are expensive. And I think they rip people off also. Like you paid for a large slab and they cut a little piece for your counter then they keep the rest. I did it tk my little kitchen and never again unless I’m diy the quartz counter myself. I went with premade counter with sink for fraction of that for my bathroom vanity.

Yeah I've quit adding it anymore. I used to hope it added a smidge more strength but anymore I just save time and accept the fact that it probably wasn't doing much 😂
I love it that you involve your boys! They will develop skill and creativity as they watch you work and participate as well.
Great job! I wish you had plans, I would buy them with no hesitation!

Thank you!
You built a beautiful cabinet for almost $800.. I'm sticking with homedepot for $299 already built. Saving!! Alot of time and frustration
Yes . DIY isn't always cheaper. But it allows the flexibility of using materials that will last a lifetime. 😊

@@derpherpp3 yes the custom sink and Countertop was $600-ish. The material for the cabinet is dirt cheap

That Optimizer is incredible. The ONLY way to lay out material! Thanks for watching!
Where did you buy the wood for the drawers?
Local hardwood supplier. Dakota Hardwoods
Looks beautiful ! Unfortunately for me , the cost of the specialty tools will Out cost the savings on the dyi cabinet.
I'd like to know what kind of plywood you used.
It's called Primo Ply... It's an 11 ply plywood that is prefinished on one side
I'm sure you know this ,but wood glue will not stick the UV plywood.

I made a similar one with WoodPrix instructions!
