The amp modeling is a nice feature. It could be made more useful by linking it to a MIDI control so it could be switched on the fly by a foot controller. The models could be assigned and called up by number and/or bank and number. Having to set it to one model doesn't seem as useful unless you use a clean sound and do all modification through stomp boxes. In effect you lose the amp modeling feature. Unfortunate....It's a rare occurrence to use an overdrive i.e. "Eddie Lead" throughout an entire set. Manually switching is too slow during a performance. I have situations where I have to go from an overdrive to clean/chorus in same song. Difficult to switch by hand while playing.
But, GREAT System!... With so much built in you need minimal speakers and amplifiers for PA. If you use Powered monitors, subs, and mains you don't need anything but the mixer and cables to connect everything. If using passive speakers you need to carry amplifiers and a crossover for the PA and amp for the monitors. Still need guitar amps and effects but can't have everything!
