i am just loving the connectivity and versatility with this mixer. I am new to buying a digital mixer as a beginner and I am already in love with this mixer and per the tutorials I have watched I am have already understood the concept of digital mixer without having it in hand.
What is the best way to increase the amount of hardware channels? I really don't want to buy a whole other unit just to take advantage of having more than 20 channels of hardware plug ins ... thanks
As you stated in 4:43, how do you connect your computer (containing "live" plugins) to the mixing board? Also, would you use a DAW as plugins? Can you? Do you use an audio interface from an aux, then run it back into an input channel like an effects loop, or can you do that through the USB, for MTK recording, or any other way, or both of what I said including "any other ways". Thanks, and please let me know all the ways you can do that, and if it is possible on any analog mixing board like the Soundcraft signature 16, if you can. Thanks and God bless!
Hey Chad, You would connect via USB. Soundcraft has a video demonstrating how this is accomplished. Check it out here: ua-cam.com/video/O2e0gqqzlO0/v-deo.html This is possible using any analog board, but you'd need an additional USB interface to go between your mixer and computer. The Soundcraft Ui24r allows you to route this with less hardware and to control from one location digitally.
