Have a 2002 E46 318i tourer where everything plastic that I touch seems to break. Great repair and thanks for including the parts required, in SA BMW spares are pretty expensive
Yeah! I got to help him put the transmission on the E39 he raffled for charity. Sam is really a great guy, he literally loves working on cars just like you and me.
Just now finding this channel and I’ve also got a black 325xit. Bought it in 2019 for $1250 and first thing I had to do was both rear window regulators, and shortly after had to do the front passenger
I’ve had my 325i since 2019 and the driver side front just went out today lol, it was bound to happen suprised it took this long. I just ordered the same part from Amazon how are they holding up?
BMW has got to have the worst designed window regulators out of any car. It's so bad it's hilarious. Along with those regulators you have to change out all of the rubber on the window to make them last the longest. The old window seals grips onto the window and then puts too much pressure on the plastic dogwater regulators. I stopped buying BMW simply due to the regulator issues.

Very nice repair, for an awesome price Chris! Dutch regards, Nico.
Thanks Nico, you know I like to save a buck when it makes sense :)
Coming here from Sam's chanel, subbing.
Great video! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching lp!
how many door panel clips broke? I always break a few pulling a door panel.
Haha maybe one or two, but I always keep a couple spares on hand :)
What were you doing at 9:36 -9:44? Why did you remove the motor and turn something?
I was sliding the window regulator up and down, which is much easier with the motor removed!
@@TheBimmerBarn I see, thanks! Great video
