The closest I can relate to this is working for Disney. A very show business oriented company, including the Back of the House jobs.
I was in the food department, not in the entertainment department. People are dedicated to this company especially the locals. They will work hard and dedicate themselves for life. Disney cast member lifers are a real thing.

Listening to these old guys reinforced my theory, to enjoy my youth and have fun and after I retire from an easy job that let me workout and go to the beach, even though I don’t earn much. And when I retire from that easy job, start making money until I died
He’s literally had the same comedy act for 24 years. He retired when he quit doing his tv show. His show was legendary, but a marginal standup act.
People who see his stand up show seem to be pretty impressed. Obviously not you.
Let’s get real lol Jerry has been retired since his show ended, everything he’s done since are just vanity projects. It’s like asking the President what he plans to do for work once he leaves the White House.
Absolutely, after the show ended, all he's done is a kids movie about bees , a couple of stand up specials, (and a big part of those were old jokes), and most recently a movie about pop tarts - all that for 26 years, it cant be considered work..

I mean you act as if going into a room of thousands of people every night and putting on a good show that leaves them happy and feeling like they got their money's worth is nothing. Putting aside his movies and Netflix shows, he still does stand up very regularly. You don't just clock in and do well at stand up, he delivers to his audiences. That is real work.

It’s weird how Bills ego is so big… videos on his YT that are weeks and months old have very few views and almost no engagement. This should be his sign that he is the minority when it comes to outlook and view point. He’s a comedian that somehow believes he’s an intellectual elite, but he doesn’t realize how transparent his facade is, so he thinks he fits in. Sad truth, Bill has to keep some of his view points because his viewership is minimal which won’t allow him to say what he truly wants. Bill is a sheep and a coward just like other celebs/influencers, they operate out of fear because they don’t have the balls to stand up for what they truly believe
