    One thing i will say for taller riders as I am 6'4" leave it naked no windshield will help and its better to just take the wind in the chest versus getting your head buffeted and thrown around

    I owned a 2015 for 2 years. Loved the engine. Everything else about the bike was very budget oriented. I just couldn't bring myself to put money into the much needed suspension upgrades. The plastic shrouded gas tank. The fake carbon fiber, the easily scratched wheels, etc. just made it not worth putting money into.

    • @Jacobcandanoza
      @Jacobcandanoza  2 роки тому +3

      It definitely has cheaper parts on it and that’s reflected in the low cost of even a brand new one but overall I think it’s a good bike, just don’t expect Ducati level quality lol

      I actually agree with you, but there are people that put three to five K into these bikes and customize them or get them track ready
      For track mods - this is before the R7 came out

    I’m so confused, @4:53 you accelerate and shift but you don’t touch the clutch, what is happening??

    • @Jacobcandanoza
      @Jacobcandanoza  Рік тому +1

      All you do is let off the throttle a tiny bit and shift up and it will click into gear🤙🏼

    Just did the 16K mile (spark plugs) service on my 19 XSR 700. Although I have done a few mods (Ohlins rear shock) the bike is 100% awesome and would have been fine stock if I could keep it out of the Canyons. Michelin Road 5s (come factory on 2022) and oil changes, it feels like the thing will run forever and never get boring, but if something happened to it tomorrow I’d go get another one just like it.

    I found a 2016 fz07 with 4K miles they want 6,800 I think that’s expensive for an old bike what do you think ? I really want a cb650r but would get one of these for a good price or xsr or trident 660

    Hello form the UK. I have just ordered the 2021 MT07 “storm fluo” . It will be the 14th bike I’ve owned - the largest being a 1200 Buell. I always seem to come back to the mid size bikes as there is just enough power for what I want. How have you found corrosion/rust on your bike? I have heard that the swing arm can suffer from this. However, shouldn’t really matter for me as I clean my bikes almost daily. Thanks

    • @Jacobcandanoza
      @Jacobcandanoza  3 роки тому +1

      As far as corrosion goes the only part that has some in on the swing arm and that’s only because some paint came off during maintenance. Other than that I haven’t found any on mine and I wash a lot less frequently😂 and I agree! I love them!

      I have the 2019 in tech black! I live in Kentucky and get to experience all the seasons and me being the lunatic I am ride in all the seasons. My bike has seen the worst of weather and so far no swing arm rust or corrosion( also my bike has seen it’s fair share of salt and snow). The worst thing about the bike for me was the wheels they get dirty fast and are a b***h to clean. I have some corrosion on my exhaust but that’s been the only place and was entirely my fault from neglect.

    • @Jacobcandanoza

    • @Jacobcandanoza
      @Jacobcandanoza  Рік тому

  • @slimbandicoot8990
    @slimbandicoot8990 2 роки тому +1

    Emphasis on the seat being bad. It’s literally the worst. If you ride over 50 mins rip to your ass. Otherwise everything is dope! Oh and it can get a little light and shaky at higher speeds. Think 80+ and the wind is pushing you around. Great bike though all around!

    • @Jacobcandanoza
      @Jacobcandanoza  2 роки тому

      Been a bit since this video published and I completely agree with the seat thing lol I don’t remember what I said in the video. I have a windshield on mine so it isn’t as bad at highway speed
