@@danicus97 What's going on my friend. Of course we can meet! What days? I've been wanting schedule a meetup for anyone that's down here in Miami. You can message me @miamimilescars on Insta with the days you'll be here to see if I can put something together. Appreciate you.
Came across your page because I own a GT3T. I love your content dude, keep it going! Also…it doesn’t sound like you’re using the no-lift shift. Give it a few tries, it’s mind-bending but you’ll get better times ;)
I saw that you subscribed my brother. Unbelievable how well you play the Piano. I will give it a few tries on my second attempt haha and post the results. God bless and have a great evening!
@@MiamiMiles thanks brother! I never comment on UA-cam, but you’re super entertaining. I make my wife watch it too ha. Looking forward to seeing your channel take off.
Thank you for your wishes my friend. I Look forward to providing this content moving forward 🙏🏻👍🏻 and amazing that you make your wife watch hahahahaah. I make mine watch every episode 😂
Also, I did another episode a week or so ago when I tried flat foot shifting :) It's under car reviews and testing in the channel. Appreciate your comment :)
Did you try flat foot shifting? Might help a tiny bit. Gonna test my 0-100km/h times in my manual 992. I’ll see if I can get under 4s. (Hint: I probably won’t 😂)
@@MiamiMiles Yes, you have to hold the throttle in the same position as you're changing gears (Maintain throttle in same position, push in clutch, change gears, and let go of the clutch). If you adjust the throttle while shifting, the car will think you are manually trying to rev match and give you control and it won't work. Give it a shot. If you do it when the valves open up, it has a mean sound.
Do manual drivers just not know how to launch? You’re not supposed to dump the clutch because it drops the RPMs and spins the wheels. You’re supposed to give like half gas and slowly lift the clutch instead of dumping it so it slips both staying in the high rpm’s power band and not making the wheels spin. It should take like a second or second and a half to go from clutch all the way down to all the way up.
@@MiamiMiles you should film another one, it would be good to see the features of launching. Not many videos about the flat foot shifting feature and whatnot. I also haven’t seen a video on the rev limiter with the manual gt3. When you are stopped and you put it in first gear, can you rev it to redline if you disable the launch control? I know the automatic doesn’t let you rev past 5k rpms. Also, when you’re driving, can you push the clutch in and rev it to redline or will it not let you?
If only it was this simple ! When in 911 it is a balancing act if you slip the clutch just little too much it will burn it it is not so simple as you make out high power car will destroy your clutch plate in a few botched launch’s
@@mickwhytee4 but it is that simple…. If you’re going to do a launch you’re planning on beating on the car, it’s assumed that you’re putting the car and its drive train under extremely high load. You can hear it when you launch an automatic car that it doesn’t fully engage the transmission, it slips the torque converter so the car stays in the power band while the car itself gets up to the speed of the power band then it fully locks. If you want to launch a manual in the same way you need to slip the clutch for a second or 2 in order to stay in your power band till the car gets up to speed, then you can fully let off. Yes it’s a higher load on the car but that’s the point of a launch…. Pushing the car and its parts to its limit, that’s why you’re not supposed to do it often anyways.
For what it’s worth: I own a modified (software and air intake/output) 911 turbo in manual. But selling it and just got a gt3. Different cars. If 0-60 matters then go with the turbo or just buy a Shelby mustang and save tons $. Or go pdk in the gt3. I’m switching to a manual gt3 because 0-60 gets boring vs the highly engaging experience of a NA 9000’rpm engine with a manual and weight at around 3100 lbs with legendary aerodynamics and track/cornering performance
Best thing about manual cars. Literally every launch is different, and for a perfect start, you need to practice quite a bit.
This is so true haha
That’s a proper manual driver spirit! I will try the same thing next week! keep it coming, love your videos all the time! Haha
Hahaha. Amazing! Can’t wait to hear about your results
Love your videos bro. Keep em coming
Thank you my bro
@@MiamiMiles hey man, im gonna be in Miami visiting with the family. Would it be possible to meet up? Would love to see the car and meet you

Nice vid Dude! I’ve been asking these questions; will try it with your recommendations 😎
Appreciate you 🙏🏻 enjoy it. It’s too much fun
I love those stripes/lines on the hood.
Me too haha I look at them with adoration every single day 😅
Try no lift shift
Do not let go gas
AGREED
Will try it in a part 2 of this video
Facts!
Good to see you finally using a draggy. The car was not stock right? This is with the tune?
Yes this was with the tune.

I did on this run. Still couldn't do any better haha
Are you using the no lift shift feature? If you’re lifting on the 1-2 shift it’ll definitely be slower.
It has a no lift feature?!?!?!?!?
I had no clue that the GT3 had this

Great feedback. Realized that after making this vid

do you just put your foot to floor and it holds at 5k?
Yes that is all I did :)
Nah the first launch you just dropped the clutch bruh💀 should’ve released it gradually, would’ve been faster
Agreed... After I shot this, I realized that your strategy would've worked way better
That car has no low end torque.. I could take you from a dig with my 2005 mustang gt
Probably… but moot point. Car is still sick to drive
@@MiamiMiles yeah. I bet
Why so slow .
Cuz I suck at manual it seems...

Haha . That’s why I bought a 992 911 Turbo S
