- I show you the proper way to slip the clutch to get the best launch possible out of your manual car. This method will save your drivetrain components by allowing you not to shock the drivetrain and a better chance of putting the power down.
After watching a millions tutorials. This one just finally made it happen for me. Was having trouble with putting my power down
Thank you for the foot footage definitely now have a good understanding of the foot work I’m try this and upload a video credit to you 💯
Keep up the great mustang content!
Good stuff.
I'm gonna try this
If you do it right, is there a slight clutch burn smell? and it goes away after 5 seconds or such?? Or is there supposed to be no smell and it means i’m letting go too slowly? i’ve heard some say if you smell it, you’re doing right but then again i don’t want to just be toasting up my clutch
Yeah usually if you smell it it’s burning up the clutch. Really anytime you do this it’s putting some wear on the clutch but as long as the RPM isn’t so high when you’re doing it it won’t wear it out too bad
The wrong way somehow looks faster lol
When I dump the clutch I get bad wheel hop. 2019 with pilot sport cup 2s.
Wheel hop is very common too, that’s because of the rear IRS moving around as well as the traction control coming on and off to keep you going straight. My suggestion is that whenever you’re going to be launching the car just turn off traction control, this will help with the wheel hop also. It’s better for it to spin rather than wheel hop so you don’t damage anything. And if you can I’d recommend steeda parts to help with keeping the IRS in place. I still have stock suspension on mine, but as you get better with slipping the clutch the wheel hop also goes away
The wrong way is so right though 😂
You under 99 In Houston? By 290?
thnx for the lesson
If you are drag racing get a clutch release controller.
Can you do a tutorial on how to do a burnout with out using line lock? Thanks
Sure, I am getting near needing new rear tires. Will probably do that once I am ready to replace them
Not wanting to be rude, but ya might want to rethink the location you record all future videos…
