Amazing how I was thinking I'd choose whichever wins here but because of how unbiased the review is, it just pretty much opened up a lot of factors to consider for all 3
As pioneering as it was back in 2010, the Leaf nameplate is sadly neglected by Nissan, left behind in both tech and competitiveness against its newer rivals.
@@nuk3fishydude902 yeah, because it can only go half the distance compared to it’s competitors. I love japanese cars, but they’ve become too complacent and are lagging behind. Just look at the leaf, No one in their right mind would pay 300k more for something this old tech in 2024.

Of course this type of cars are not meant for salary earners because salary job is just like modern slavery. You work for 8 years and you couldn't buy a car while some people are just investing little coin in the stock market and they're making millions of dollars.

I've been waiting for a video like this for awhile, it came out when I already purchased the Atto. It's still my first choice after watching this video.
Mainit sa loob ng byd pag tirik ang araw due to the sunroof. Parang di kaya ng ac. Common complaint ng mga may atto 3 yan sa group. Also, the driving feel is average at best compared to mg4
Sorry guys. MG4 all the way. Not just the looks, but the experience of driving it daily is a win win. Thanks to the battery of lux, it provides the needed torque. Plus charging is faster even though it has a longer range. All those features from other brands, hope you can use them well. Because for me, driving experience and battery charging is the reason why i bought it.
So… nobody mentions the niggles of the cars?I have seen several complaints against the MG4 re: build quality and the questionable ADAS that one has to manually turn off every single time. Being RWD it’s undeniably fun to drive though.
All featured cars are good, the leaf though is boring for me. Although ...The GWM Ora 03 seem to check all the boxes.. fast enough, not bad looking, reasonably priced. I was wondering why it's not that popular here.
i think full EV is not suitable yet in the philippines because of charging infrastructure specially if you go out of town, PHEV is the better choice like BYD Sealion 6
It depends on the circumstance. As an EV owner, I have the best charging infrastructure that is always available always 1st in line, cheap to fill and is exactly where I live, my own garage! Not to mention in our Mall culture in the Philippines, I get exclusive parking with free top up.
There will be more charging infrastructures as they are driven by increasing demands. Hotels and apartments are now beginning to provide charging stations as it is seen as necessities and facilities. Plus you are going to somewhere with electricity anyway. Plug it in, go to sleep, and done. Owning EV is only 1/10th of the cost of owning ICE or hybrid. Maintenance free with only checking AC filter, brakes and fluids every 10k km
a sunroof in this country's type of weather? I disagree that it should be a factor for comfort in a car. It's more of a gimmick rather than making people inside more comfortable. But I'm glad the Nissan Leaf's price has significantly dropped compared to 2-3years ago. Last I checked the Leaf's price, it was around 3M Php, so that's a win for would be EV buyers
That's exactly what Japan car salesman would say when they downgraded from their cars with sunroof like Alphard. Actually it's cutting down production costs, while jacking up the price. Making people more comfortable is not a gimmick😂 when you drive on the mountain it gives off airy feeling. Use 80% sunscreen film then if you don't like it. Plus, it's still cheaper than damn japanese brand. We should stop worshipping japanese stuff. They only care about ripping us off blind. 3M Php for a crappy range and charging time? No thanks. Now everything EV is centered on China, especially
Not a gimmick! It's not about the air, but the insane amount of light coming in! I have ridden in a Tesla with a full glass sunroof outside PH and I never felt so free seeing so much sky on a perfect weather that I wanted one in the PH. I got a car with the same almost whole roof sunroof and it is fantastic on a leisure drive as a passenger. It feels so roomy and free. Not every drive is a sunny drive, sunroof are fantastic on a cloudy morning, on a sunset drive or even a night drive! Heat from a Sunny Day isn't a problem considering it can be closed automatically and heat rejection tinting. The gimmicks are the tiny roof on Toyota Alphard or Honda CRV those things are so tiny they don't make a difference.
@@mikh8l I was talking about comfort factor in this country. It is great that you can enjoy driving with the sunroof on OUTSIDE this country. The sun and heat in this country is different from temperate countries, so yeah there is a huge difference. As I said, I have a car that has a sunroof, and the number of times I have used the sunroof is almost none. why? bcoz most times of the year, it is hot, otherwise, it is raining. And yeah, sometimes I used it whenever it is cloudy or in the evening with no traffic and even early morning, but how many times is that in my daily drive? So that was my point, the sunroof should not be a factor in determining comfort for cars in THIS country. I never said, Japanese cars are better because they don't have sunroofs. I never said Chinese cars are superior, I just said, they should not put the sunroof as a factor in determining comfort in the cars in this country. Ergo, in THIS country, having a sunroof is more of a gimmick rather than being comfy. I hope you get the point. Or better yet, drive a car in this country everyday for about a week, then tell me how many times you opened the sunroof and for how long did you open it versus the number of hours you drove. Then get back to me about the beauty of having a vehicle with sunroof in the philippines
@@boymaoy1007 oh I do have a car with 75% glass roof in the Metro Manila and I do have one of those small sunroof type. Again, heat doesn't really apply unless it's near noon or noon considering those roof are treated of heat rejection and many are double panelled glass. I use mine daily open in Metro Manila because the amount of light is a big thing for creature comfort. If you're challenging me based it on my personal experience then you lose that round because my shades are open 80% of the time. It's about the light more than anything with these giant sunroof. I do have a small sunroof on my Alphard and those are gimmicks that I don't bother with. Also this is not a Chinese vs Japanese but rather good design vs gimmick design.
@@mikh8l so what did you open? the sunroof or just the sunshade? What would a good sunlight do for your comfort in the heat of this country? just light? Even without a sunroof you can get enough light inside your vehicle in the middle of the day. does having more light make you more comfortable? That makes a big difference for you in terms of comfort? I think I'd be more comfortable inside a shaded cabin rather than having more light inside the vehicle. Why do you think most filipinos opt for car tints? Because they hate the light and heat in our climate. And here you are telling me nay imposing on me that having a sunroof is more comfortable for people inside a vehicle. well enjoy your sunroof with the sunshade on, I'm glad you feel more comfortable in it, it's still a no for me

Japan is left behind in EV game because they got too comfortable with ICE and hybrid. They don't have any EV with reasonable price and range.
