Absolutely amazing. Duplicated 2 keyfobs for my 2010 Dodge Ram 2500 Turbo Diesel. I cannot believe how EASY it was. I was doubtful but thought that I would give it a try for a fraction of what a dealer would charge. Took all of 5 minutes to program both fobs. Just read the directions and follow them step by step. The key that came in my kit did not flash a blue light. I figured the battery was DOA and my old one needed a new battery anyway, so I replaced them both. Old fob worked good as new. New fob, no blue flashing light. Thought wtf and went through the programming steps anyway. It worked! I now have a spare for my 2014 Grand Caravan Silver Edition that works exactly as the original. Works as advertised. Do exactly what the video says and you will be successful. I was quoted over $230 for 1 FOB by different companies AND one of them needed me to travel over an hour to get to their territory. I bought the programmer (good for 8 FOBS) and an extra FOB and both with keys made by a photo for $198. One of the FOBS had a malfunctioning sliding door button and they sent another within a few days. Great product and great service.
I bought this product and it worked like a charm. Now instead of having a key that only starts the van I now have two key fobs that lock and unlock the doors and start the van. Having a fob that unlocks the doors makes it so much easier for shopping. I don't have to run around to unlock the doors with the key.

Both of my fobs crapped out for my 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan at the same time and replacing the batteries in them didn't do the trick. Google led me to Tom's Key Company and Simple Key. Instead of dropping $500 at the dealer for new fobs, I spent $160 total and now have two working fobs that took me less than 10 minutes to program because of this video.

Caught the product on sale and for good reason they were out of stock. Once they were restocked it shipped and when it arrived setup was super easy. I got two keys programmed so fast that I was sure I did it wrong lol. But I was just that easy!
It works very nice. I was confused because my key fob was already activated and I didn't know that they sent the key fob already activated. But it works well and easy.

I programmed this key and it works perfectly fine for the ignition, but it doesn’t work for the door locks or panic buttons. Is there anything suggestions?
Strange. One idea - call the dealership, give your VIN and ask them to confirm if your vehicle was originally manufactured with a remote fob too lock/unlock the doors. Occasionally a vehicle is made without the remote signal receiving equipment even though the vehicle has power locks. Or perhaps the receiving antenna broke or wires got disconnected. Another idea for be a dead battery in the fob. Or perhaps the circuit board on the fob your received is faulty, but that would be odd is it worked to activate the fob.

I wasn't sure the kit I purchase on Amazon would work on our 2020 Dodge Grand Caravan because the box listed Grand Caravan 2008 -2019 even though Amazon showed it was compatible and there wasn't another listing for a 2020. After 10 minutes into the second phone call, got disconnected on the first after being on hold for 15 mins, I decided to give it a try. Follow the instructions carefully, locate your OBD port and adjust your seat to be able to make the connection with the doors closed. Hopefully you won't need tech support. I never got a response from them.

Glad they worked to start the car. We have added a warning about proximity feature not working on these keys. Not perfect, but most Dodge don't have proximity feature. Yes, provided your vehicle came original from the factory with a fobik like this with lock/unlock buttons. If you are not sure you can call the dealership to ask. And while you are at it ask them the cost to make a new one. Then come here to save 💰

i just went to batteries + bulbs and after waiting a week they couldnt help me with a new key, and the dealership doesnt have vw routan keys or a way to program it and they want to charge me to get the whole computer replaced.

Follow the instructions carefully, locate your OBD port and adjust your seat to be able to make the connection with the doors closed.

That's the question. My original had remote start and trunk door open on the key fob. Does it program the other buttons besides lock unlock and panic

Program 2 keys they start the vehicles for dodge challenger, but the proximity sensors doesn't work

Still cheaper than what car dealerships are charging. Up here in Canada it could run you $300+ depending on where you go.

Okay, wow. The lock button unlocks it, the top left blank is the panic and the bottom right blank is the lock. What?!

Yes, provided your vehicle came original from the factory with a fobik like this with lock/unlock buttons. If you are not sure you can call the dealership to ask. And while you are at it ask them the cost to make a new one. Then come here to save 💰
Rather than making duplicate can it be used to program it to a totally new different code

i just went to batteries + bulbs and after waiting a week they couldnt help me with a new key, and the dealership doesnt have vw routan keys or a way to program it and they want to charge me to get the whole computer replaced.

It sounds like it only works with one vehicle. So if I program it to one vehicle I can’t reprogram it to a second vehicle?
Hello Omar, You need a new programmer for each vehicle. The programmer reads the VIN number and becomes locked to the first vehicle it makes a key for. You can make up to 8 keys for the same Dodge vehicle with it. If you need further assistance, send us an email help@tomskey.com

The programmer gets paired to the VIN number of the first vehicle you program. It can make several keys for that vehicle. But for a different vehicle, you need to get another programmer

i have a 2012 VW Routan and one day all of my fobs all stopped working. they still work to start the vehicle. but none of the door lock buttons work on any of them. I had three working fobs and they all stopped working at the same time. the fuse is good in my vehicle. Any thoughts?
Perhaps the receiver antenna that gets signals from the remote fob buttons has failed or become disconnected?
