So whatever the person thinks and takes away from the reading, potentially could be manifested along his/her timeline. How can the future be predicted if we don't know what the person is capable of manifest in the physical form? Best!
I have learned a lot from your explanations and really like your ZOOM meetings. I am a very scientific minded person so I have remained somewhat wary of Tarot even as I dive deeper in because it seemed work so far beyond our conscious mind. So your connection of tarot and conceptual blending seemed to put the ground back under me. Genius! My question relates to your sample readings. When heard, out loud, the readings sound somewhat generic, regardless of what cards are pulled. I see that the cards are general archetypes so always ‘generic’ in a way, but this would be the first thing a skeptic would attack. So I have to assume that, in a real reading, you are listening to feedback from the querent which would change the look and sound of the readers statements. Is this the case?
Hi Mr. Pitisci Tarot readers principally answer questions but very few of them do actually get into trouble to answer this one ("Who's the one who answers the question through those symbols?") and you seem to be the only one who dares to try that in public - so I have to congratulate you. Your video doesn't enlighten me though. If the answer really lies to conceptual blending, then any card could do the trick and none should be anxious to pick up the right cards - not to say use the "right" meanings. I can understand that the TDM you use, with its vaguer representations, leaves more "space" to imagination and intuition than the Waite-Smith one, but even using the TDM, I wonder how many readers would foresee a hopeless love affair under the Star sign or a happy end under the arcana of Death... Aren't we seeking for the right (sic) indicators after all, when we do a tarot reading? Thanks in advance!

Yes, the cards spark ideas by making associations to the positions of the card spread they are placed into. The only specifications of accuracy are if the ideas seen in the reading work. That is a prediction. The same holds true with new ideas found through any other type of creative thinking technique like conceptual blending. You need to follow through and see if it works. Prediction is not etched in stone. It shows options and choices. If you do this….I see this happening. Prediction. I also wanted to mention I appreciate the questioning of my ideas here on this UA-cam. I get a lot of encouragement from friends and family but criticism is rare and has more value to me. So if someone asks "will my husband come back" and the tarot reader says "no", that is to be dismissed since it's not something the person in question can actually get from seeing the cards in front of them? Since it's all just our own minds trying to sort it out..
Each Tarot reader has their own opinion on that. It is my professional opinion that the Tarot cards do not foretell fate. They spark new ideas and solutions to what ever you are trying to accomplish. They can show solutions to an objective. They can show strategy. Direction. Planning that can give you the best advantage to achieve a goal being sought. I don't believe in fate. I believe in free-will and I do my readings based on those principles. Hope this helps and thanks for watching.

That's what I was wondering. Especially when I am the one to give a tarot reading and advise someone else. There are all sorts of outcomes, sometimes the advice to not go in a certain direction (to be passive) or to do go in a certain direction (to engange) comes up. Both options are valid. But the cards can and will usually show a clear picture (for example 4 of swords would be an indication of rest as the knight of swords would speak about movement and assertiveness). There is not much left to the imagination with energetic tendencies like that. And now I am researching and wondering what source is putting exactly those cards on the table for that specific person. In theory, law of attraction, spiritual guides, maybe with the philosophy of oneness to say that we have access to not only our subconscious but at these moments gain access to the other person's SC too ... There is too little we know about it 🤔 Although noted it is easier to explain why it works on ourselves.

Still does not explain the synchronicity of the subjects/nouns of the querent and the cards that come up at that point in time. Still does not explain how the subject of the cards co ordinate together in a cohesive manner. I recommend that you play with and do alot of readings with the Tarot and Oracle cards at the same time! I recommend that you record 1000 client tarot card readings ( that clients actually pay you for ) - just ask the question/theme - read the cards - then let the querent fill in the gaps at the end with facts not stated to begin with. Work as a professional and by then you learn how to work with this tool! Only through experience and recorded events can you then draw conclusions!
You don't need Tarot cards to engage in conceptual blending. This proves nothing. Also, not all thoughts created by conceptual blending are going to be valid, most are likely to be faulty analogies. Show me a scientific study.

Vincent Pitisci theres a great film that came out recently by the great paul schrader who wrote Taxi Driver called First Reformed would be instresting to get your thoughts on the film as it really does stretch out scenes by creates or refiling gaps that reminds me of conceptual blending frameworks
Trish Caldwell when people ask for scientific verification it usually indicates a lazy mind. Someone that really wants 'proof' of something should do the research and find out for themselves. Podcasts, seminars, study guides on any topic will get you only so far. The rest you have to live and learn for yourself
