Yes! People get irritated with me all the time because they ask me a question and I ask them, "What's your real question?" I'm not going to stop asking that. LOL
When doing a 3-card spread, do you have to decide before putting the cards down what each position means, ie. past - present - future, or, positive - negative - closure, etc.? Or can you decide after the 3 cards have been laid out which configuration seems to fit? Also, I've done "positive, negative, closure" and had the devil show up in positive! How do you read that? There's no positive?
For me there's positive and negative in every card. devil positive position can mean, you are able to shed these chains. It could also be associated to "lightbringer/ culture bringer/ bringer of fire= knowledge, using new tools, evolution (development). It could also be read as questioning rules/ beliefs one has been convinced they are THE ONLY TRUTH, but now you dare to look out of the box, have a closer look at things you didn't consider as possibilities before. It can also hint on that you are not seeing the positive because you're chained in your fear / distrust or doubt of it or in a state of neglecting or so, have a glass half empty attitude, while really it can as well be seen as a glass half full , seeing just the devil side of things and not the angel side, which is there for you to discover. Means: hey, have a look, all is not bad or going down or dangerous, there's also things to be grateful for, things that work well, and good opportunities.
Hi Janet. I usually decide before I lay cards down what my position meanings are going to be. See what works best for you. Everyone is different. Hope this helps.
This is above my head. I just insist that my Querents have questions, I promise not to 'Cold Read' them, I don't research them on their Facebook pages, I won't take it upon myself to think that my Inquirer is hiding something from me. TBH, I think that's rude, disrespectful and potentially reaching outside of a card reader's remit, almost becoming an unqualified psychoanalyst and attracting the scrutiny of governmental medical overseers. Surely our job is just to read the cards, not assume to use our 'instincts' or bias to somehow determine that our clients are lying to us, or hiding something from us ? Surely that's at best aloofness, maybe even bordering on mental illness on our part ???
I had a notification of yours referencing a 21 card spread. I was interested but when I clicked on it, it says it’s been removed. What happened with that?

Hi Vincent. Do you ask the client to state the question to you before you start?

@@khan7459 Thank you, these are really great descriptions of positives for a card that is usually considered negative!

What are you drawing? I expanded the view on my computer to see if I could figure it out. I wish you would hold up the notebook and let us see:)

I had to take it down for about 30 minutes but it's back up now.
@@VPitisci oh I see, just poor timing on my part. Cheers.
