- Can Pokémon fuse with humans? Pokémon Fusion is not unusual, be it real or fanfic. We've seen it becoming canon in the Pokémon games in Gen5 with Kyurem, Reshiram and Zekrom, Gen7 with Necrozma, Solgaleo and Lunala and we can argue that the same happens in Gen8 with Calyrex and the horses. But what about Humans and Pokémon? Well, that could very well become real one day!

i feel like ash greninja in gen 7, is the closes we've ever been, and probably ever will be to humans fusing with pokemon in the games tbh
I'd say that Lusamine and Nihilego was the closest, honestly. Even if it was sort of a parasite/host situation! And even not liking the concept I got to admit... it looked awesome back then!

the potential that pokemon has it can easily win almost every game of the year award and that big brand value is just nuts . imagine a pokemon game with combat style of pokenn tournament , storyline like mangas with dark references , freedom and features like breath of the wild , every region to explore and with the awesome soundtracks which is one of the things that pokemon games are known for that game can easily wreck every game in it's path ya it will take time to develop it but with all the resources pokemon company they can easily do it . i don't understand why they always prefer quantity over quality and they can't make excuses also that oh we don't have that much ideas when all the community is literally telling them what they want from years now
You have to understand that a game will always be its developers vision. Some times, they will try and branch off from its roots (for example, the developers of Ori are currently working on a RPG), but when you have such a well-oiled machine, it's hard to go away from it. I see Pokémon Legends: Arceus as the first time GameFreak decided to do this. Might not be what you're describing, but it is very different from everything else we got, which is always a good thing! Hopefully it sells well and we get more and more in the future!
@@notsoAceTrainer that developer vision is the thing that never satisfies masuda and ohmori are not good directors masuda should be the music director for a good game we need good directors masuda's games always feels like they are faithful to gen 1 mainly cuz of his obsession towards 151 and ohmori's game feels lazy for a good pokemon game they need to evolve ohmori has came up with good concepts but he is very lazy to implement them in a good way the one and only game of ohmori which i like is oras which was his first and last somewhat descent game . i really really hope that ohmori is not directing it masuda is also not directing it cuz he was busy with bdsp . plus pokemon games are never a failure in terms of sales you can tell it just by the sales of sword and shield which is a trash game but still somehow managed to come close to breath of the wild . the pokemon franchise now days is only surviving cuz of it's brand value not it's quality of games and that is fact
I think SwSh is a very solid game WITH DLC. My biggest issue with it was going from the Wild Area to the rest of the linear towns. Apart from that, I have never put as many hours in a Pokémon game, honestly. Mostly because it was a game thinking of the future - it was always going to be the VGC game and they focused more on the availability of IV training, competitive items and all that. But I understand your complaints!
@@notsoAceTrainer all the games are vgc games the vgc community is the only community which is satisfied from pokemon for me let's go games were way better then swsh plus that is just an excuse that oh a whole new gen will be focusing on competitive only which more than 60 % of the community does not even care plus g-max and d-max are just op they are not even balanced properly that is just a lame excuse that swsh were made for the vgc community only for getting more pokemon you have to buy the dlc pack which is another dirty business trick
That is objectively wrong. BDSP and PL:A are not/won't be VGC games. SwSh will be the platform for at least another year (and most likely another right after). And you don't have to buy the DLC pack in order to have access to new Pokémon, you only have to buy it in order to have access to new areas, the Pokémon are available for you through Trading, HOME transfer AND you can catch them yourself through Max Raid Battles hosted by people who have the DLC. You don't need to have it yourself.
Also, SwSh was the first time I played VGC, I am not a VGC player and still liked the game.

If it ended up in a game it would be a spin off, they already have enough on their main line games that annoy people after all
We never know, honestly... I don't put it past them to have a similar gimmick in the future! If they keep going with a different gimmick every gen, they will eventually run out of things and resort to some bond or something similar
I can’t understand why this isn’t one of the coolest possible gimmicks. I love digimon too but I was completely in love with the fusion happening there but also the spirit digivolution in frontiers. I would love this kind mechanic in the Pokémon games. Sure there can’t bea form for every Pokémon but at least every fully evolved Pokémon available in the game ( so they would have to decrease the number of Pokémon and maybe release some via dlc. I know this would be a hell of a work for them but I didn’t liked that thing about mega Pokémon. You had only a few megas to choose from and if you wanted to have a competitive team, you were nearly forced to take one of these and then not every mega was that strong. ) If every fully evolved Pokémon would have a form, you could freely choose which one you want and no one would be sad about his favourite Pokémon not being able to
I think it could only work with a very small set of Pokémon and that is clearly something they don't want to do again, like you said, since every mechanic past evolution works with everyone with just some special cases that go beyond it. Then, since it fuses with you, it would have to keep in mind how you look yourself since there's a lot of customization options... I think it's just way too much for them to even consider it and, honestly, with the development time of a Pokémon game... maybe it is for the best!

I highly doubt this would ever cross over into the main series. Pokemon Reburst only ran for eight volumes before being discontinued which is relatively short though longer than most Pokemon manga to be fair. Needless to say, people weren't really kin on the premise.
I think it would also not be feasible. There's too many Pokémon, and they've been going away from the "only X Pokémon get the form" so, I think that it will just be something left in the manga - unless it gets adapted somehow into something different on a smaller scale!
I want to read it, but can't find it anywhere, only up to chapter 19.
It's basically impossible to find, I was on the same boat (and still am). The manga was never officially translated to english so I think that's part of the problem...
@@notsoAceTrainer yeah, i started reading it yesterday, and found that chapter 19 was translated in november 22, 2022. Besides, i can't find translated nor japanese (in any case, apologize for my english)
Neat! Now dont take my word on this, but some of my friends call me a furry. But i could see where they come from, what i mean is i have always loved the idea of humanoid animals, so this would be very cool to see in a game. even if its not a main game, but an add on like how the Isle of Armor or The Crown Tundra was to SW/SH. All im saying is that it would be neat to have HuMons..... ok that was stupid im sorry, TwT #Corny
HuMons sounds more like a Digimon term, tbh 🤣 I was always on the other side, I like some humainoid Pokémon but I mostly love the more beastly ones!
