Sadly even having dental benefits, that typically does not cover more than a portion of the actual costs of dental work when the medical need for care is great.
Oh how I wish that the government would realize that dental health is integral to physical health! I receive SSDI, but sadly, Medicare doesn't cover dental. I hope you receive all the monetary assistance you need and so much more. You deserve a world full of happiness and health. 💜🐶🐱

Hello Darling Child! It's lovely to see you. Heck with embarrassment. It's the policymakers at the VA who should be down on their knees begging forgiveness from our veterans! I never think to look at ppl's Community Tabs. Well, we got our elder son married off on the 5th! It was hot; but plenty windy and by a lake so we did not get heat stroke. The reception was at a lovely venue. His work buddies made the food. We had a Street Taco bar. I was so thrilled to see my boys in suits for the first time. :) And the bride was lovely in a lavender gown. I am now in recovery from the stress! Much love!!!!! xoxo

I am so sorry to hear about your infections... I've been dealing with my wisdom teeth which came in and broke which are constantly getting infected for years now. Yours sounds way worse tbh but I do know that tooth infections are horrific. Ive got a close friend whose a maths genius with schizophrenia. myself ive got more money than i can spend and i chose to abuse drugs and blame autism and lack of theory of mind. i rather my bank account be emptied for a good cause.

Dental pain is the worst 😪 from personal experience I would suggest a no sugar low carb diet. Also try taking olive leaf extract and grapefruit seed extract, eating garlic or cinnamon with food. None of this will help immediately but it will prevent an infection returning or getting worse. So pleased your mental health is doing better ❤

Dental costs are barely covered even with insurance! My uncovered oral health care costs are into the tens of thousands given my dental problems. Ugh. This needs to change in America!!

You can't help that there is not a better system in place to help you. Don't be ashamed to ask for help if you need it! In Belgium, we are very fortunate with our health care. If I go to have a cavity fixed, I pay €106 and the next day, my insurance pays back more than €90. The insurance costs less than €10 a month. I pay a ton of taxes every month though 😅 I don't mind helping you out a little, if I am so lucky myself.
It's absolutely insane (no pun intended) how dental is such a low priority in this country. I know so many people my age, in their 50s, who have dentures. Dentures can be expensive, so many have to go without those as well. ❤️

Glad you are doing a little better mentally daniel hopefully in future there will be a time where you are doing better still. Find it baffling that even though your dental issues are a risk to your health you are having to pay out large amounts of money for the work. All the essential work should surely be free. I can understand needing to pay for certain cosmetic procedures. Wish i could donate but unfortunately i am struggling with money myself. i live in germany. our dental treatment is part of our health system. so it costs us no cash, its payed by the taxes we pay.

Daniel, I came across your first interview when it first came out and let me tell you, I cried. Not because you made me sad. But because I felt like you saw me. While I don’t have the same diagnosis as you, I have been in really really really ugly places as well including mental hospital. Today I finally came across your second interview (I know I’m way late) but my goodness, again, tears rolling down my face. Tears because you see me. You know how I’ve felt. You can't help that there is not a better system in place to help you. Don't be ashamed to ask for help if you need it! In Belgium, we are very fortunate with our health care. If I go to have a cavity fixed, I pay €106 and the next day, my insurance pays back more than €90. The insurance costs less than €10 a month. I pay a ton of taxes every month though 😅 I don't mind helping you out a little, if I am so lucky myself.

It's absolutely insane (no pun intended) how dental is such a low priority in this country. I know so many people my age, in their 50s, who have dentures. Dentures can be expensive, so many have to go without those as well. ❤️

Glad you are doing a little better mentally daniel hopefully in future there will be a time where you are doing better still. Find it baffling that even though your dental issues are a risk to your health you are having to pay out large amounts of money for the work. All the essential work should surely be free. I can understand needing to pay for certain cosmetic procedures. Wish i could donate but unfortunately i am struggling with money myself. Hopefully someone wealthy is watching who can get all of this sorted out. Though saying that anyone who donates even $1 is pretty great. You deserve all the help and support though man.
