I got to hear the original pair demo'ed by JF at the 0:50 mark. Incredibly nice build with reclaimed cabinetry and unparalleled bang for your buck from a sound reproduction standpoint. I've used a couple pair of the 4" version of this woofer and it is solid as well. People should be all over this stuff. There's no better starting point for DIY in 2024.
Nicely done, Brandon! They look great. Brad really knows his stuff and he and JR offer these MAC drivers at a really competitive price point. Thanks for supporting MAC, and therefore all the other events, members, and endeavors they support. It is a great forum community to be a part of and share projects.
Lots of cool stuff on their site, and for great prices. I'm interested in the floor stander kit, though it lacks quite a bit in sensitivity only being 83dB
Sir I am from India please help me in the design of my tower speaker in which I am using 8 inch subwoofer, 6.5 inch mid range, 4 inch silk dome Twitter
I have to be honest I had never heard of them before. Really cool showing a kit like this.

Excellent work, sir! They came out great :)
Looks awesome love the color of those.
Awesome color! Great job 👏

Most diy speakers are under 85db, most are closer to 80.
Nice clean, simple build. (The binding posts look upside down...or maybe I've been doing it wrong?)
Nice build! The only thing I thought was strange was putting the veneer in the other direction on the back side of one speaker?
Yep it did look weird. It was an extra piece of material I had on hand.
Did you test before putting inside the crossover?
Can "biscuit" joinery be used in speaker box construction?
Yes, absolutely it could. It isn't always necessary, but they could never hurt.

I wish I could. We're just too far apart my man.
@@DIYhyfy If a knowledgeable person like you makes a design on paper with measurements, it is very helpful.
