Get that Trevor man another raise. He was like a jungle cat hoping around getting all those angles and even had time to do interview mid rescue?! T-Man FTW
I was thinking Trevor needs a four-wheeler.
Dandy interview
I always thought he could use a OneWheel. He seems like he would like to use that board. But it wouldn't work for the rocky stuff and not sure about how it'd work on sand
I wonder how many ankles he sprains a year?
I particularly like the belly shot of the morevair
Can't wait for the next installment of Eds LJ20 Recovery.
“Operation Golden Nugget”
I think Ed will be buying pizza for a long time.
I agree!
That's the one I want to see to
Agreed!
I lost my Grandpa when I was twelve and now Ed brings back alot of those good feelings for me. I really dont think he understands how many people may watch some days just for his few scenes.
Exactly!! Seeing Ed in these videos makes my day!!! He is my favorite and never fails to make me happy.
Agreed
Those long rides with ED there has to be some good stories told. We need a “story time with Ed” video
Yes we do so make it happen Mat!
You can tell how fast Trevor is running by how far his beard parts!
Beards give you plus 25 hp
Thanks to people like you an old man like ED get's to live his later years totally fulfilled with fun and laughter, well done guys, world needs more people like you.
Ed’s tha MAN!
Yeah man sure looks like he's living his best life.
Ed is not old, he is just fully-experienced!!
@@georgeorwell126 Seasoned…Ed is seasoned {😺😺😺}
Apparently the secret to a happy, long life is fresh air with sunlight & high altitude, the company of younger people, and, most importantly, Pizza and Milkshakes. It even perked Lizzie up after she had a slow start, but she still didn't get dirty or perspire.
Trevor needs a shoe sponsor with the amount of trail running he's done 😂
Yo I imagine his cardio is pretty insane the amount of running he does in those trails just runnin a camera
TORR Trevors Off Road Runners
Surely Matt must be paying for his shoes as well
I love Ed!!
Trevor has that Forrest Gump running across America beard as well
You could not have put together a better team. You guys nail it every time.
When I read that first, I missed the "not" and got personally offended on the teams behalf hahaha
I'll second that, MORR TEAM EXTRAORDINARY...
Sure do good buddy. 🤪🤪
They are all family and friends. so, technically, I think they could put together a better team. With that being said, humans get good at what they do often enough.
AGREED 100%...GOD BLESS EVERYONE...IT WAS AWSOME..
You guys have gave ed a happy and eventful retirement. Hes staying in motion and hopefully he will stay in motion for many years to come! He looks happy!
Those Patagonia tires are starting too look more like racing slicks.
too many burn outs lol
Was just gonna say that.
Yep, not sure I'd be confident in running them over sharp rocks....
Mostly seemed to be the driver-side rear and only the inside part too. Maybe needs an alignment to straighten it out or is that mostly due to heavy loads pushing the angle off?
Gotta go fast man🤷🏽♂️
They never say anything about Rudy’s Jeep. I hope it gets an overhaul too.
That would be great 👌🏻
Let's make this comment get to the top so Matt can overhaul his jeep maybe as a Christmas gift
I've said it before: I get that, but I also really enjoy that a near-stock XJ (it's just lifted with Dana axles, I believe) is doing all of the stuff it does.
@@ischmidt Rudy is a very good offroad driver! It amazes me how he handles every obstacle with his Jeep.
Rudy is a beast in his jeep!! Overhauling it would just make things to easy for him!😂
Ed to Trevor, if you didn’t help with my rear seals you only get 1 slice🤣🤣🤣
This is my favorite running channel. Trevor's transformation into an ultra-runner is inspirational.
and how does he do it eating all that junk from Maverick's?!
@@jdlutz1965 A lot of ultra runners do it so they can eat junk from Mavericks. Well maybe not Mavericks, but other assorted fast food greatness.
@@jdlutz1965 Hey now! No need to disparage the fine window food on offer from Mavericks, or Country Cuzzins, for that matter! LOL! That's some fine gourmet dining on the run, after softball practice or a game, when family is in town visiting, etc. You know, whenever!
I can't say enough, how much I love these videos and the crew. Such a family atmosphere. Trevor, you rock. The amount of running you do would put a marathoner to shame.
If I’m still kickin’ at Ed’s age, I hope I can find a crew like this to do it with. Good on ya Ed for enjoying everything life has to offer.
Kudos to Lizzy for nailing the approach and loading onto the rollback. That made me catch a breath!
The Real Hero of the story is Mr Ed , Feeding the whole family , What a real Father 🙋♂️
So the customer was so excited to finally see his stars in person and then Matt was like "ok I'm out" 🤣
🤣👌
How about the awkward handshake fist bump with Ed lol
@@Bigbrunibelow that had me in tears
That's what I thought. They were trying to be friendly. No luck.
I miss the banana! I hope you’ll still use it sometimes!💛…. Lizzy, you’re so relaxed & brave driving other people’s vehicles on those crazy roads,, great job!🤠👍🏼
Hollywood should take note with this channel. Not everyone wants to see a bunch of drama and problems getting along with each other. I love this channel and this crew. Just good solid folks. Working hard. And doing a great job at what they do.
Always blame the spotter!
Trevor: Spare Tire Rodeo Rider.
3 dandies and a run dover rope.
Just one of those days.
Success!
Thanks MORR.
THAT'S TOYOTA BULLETPROOF RELIABILITY! LOL!
Forgot never bet against Ed or Lizzie...!!
"Spare Tire Rodeo Rider" LOL
No problem will get them out..! This channel is clean no drama, gets your excitement level up! And this stuff never gets old. If this was on the Discovery Channel I wouldn't watch it. Great job guys 🎥 nice filming and editing 👌
If it was on tv 90%of it would be scripted though
If it was discovery only 1 season would be drama free..
Discovery sucks
Rudy and lizzy would be some kind of argument.... Trevor would have been ostracized for not helping out on the seal.... Fred would have been referred to as a cheap scape for dominoes pizza
Would be more popular than American chopper ever was
That Trevor mount, Rudy installed on the rear of his XJ is clever,.. hell, it can even carry a spare tire if need be.
One dandy mod there.
Happy adventures out there all.
Been watching your channel for a few months now. You and your entire teams conduct and genuine kindness is applaudable. I look forward to your videos each week more than anything on television, keep up the good work and ty for the content!
With the Moorvair and Rudy's jeep you guys are unstoppable you made this recovery look easy.
I loved Lizzy's reaction when Trevor said she hydrates at home it was priceless.
She was wondering if he knew something she thought no one knew.....
@@georgeorwell126 That could be true alsi
With all these amazing builds of the Morrvair and the Banana, Rudy's Jeep is a quiet work horse that no one speaks of. I bet it's a sleeper.
Its the operator that made Rudy's Jeep so good. These guys are some of the best off-roaders out there.
@@oceanlover1663 So true!
Yet I also bet with some pretty serious suspension in there, especially when you see how much it travels.
Looks like a few too many burnouts on those rear tires, Matt!
He’s said he does it for the sand dunes, apparently worn down tires work better in the sand
@@PedroCosta-vp5cj dont have experience at all but probabaly so he doesnt dig as much
Looks like an alignment issue to me.
Those are still the set of 28 inch shop tyres, he has new 27 inch ones for it.
@@kyleeggers yeah inside of drivers rear was about bald.
We had Trevor and his cat-like footwork, the MORRVAIR flexing 💪 and Lizzy hitting the rollback with precision! Can’t forget Ed giving the play by play! 👍👍👍
Never been into off roading. Never been into beefed up trucks. Never been to a sandy mountainous region. But good god have I become absolutely addicted to watching these recovery videos. Sometime I just sit and watch while shaking my head and saying “nope” while watching them pull out vehicles with two trucks tied together up a mountain and over rocks! Crazy entertaining and so daggum wholesome
I must say that I’m impressed with you and your team. The work you do is dangerous so the key to coming out safely is communication, which you all do very well. All of you should be very proud to be a part of such a great team. 👍🏼
Trevor's interview skills are dandy!!
Yup a fourth DANDY! TREVOR!
That face @ 13:56 Ed makes “out of engine oil!?” That’s why we love him.
7:56 you mean??
Trevor I've done that exact same thing only on a 1991 full size Ford bronco, you're an amazing camera guy. Good job.
I gotta say, Trevor is a BEAST! the shots he gets and running up those hills... what a great channel! you and fabrats are my favorite things on tv. Thanks for making your show!
I have been off-roading for 30+ years.... been stuck countless times (always pushing the limits of man and machine)... I REALLY enjoy your videos! Thank you for posting!
When Trevor was on the tire, my wife came in saw it and started sing. "Time to do some scetchy s;+t do dah do dah..." I busted out laughing.
Haha, Thanks for sharing . Life is great
Trevor has to be in great shape with all the running in that heat. I'm 30 years beyond doing anything like that. Great way to start my morning, thanks guys and gal.
Matt. The best part of this channel is your crew. Running; filming; driving; weather reports and pizza rewards. They do it all.
Man the morevia is just the most iconic fantastic vehicle, I loved the camera under there showing all those alterations working perfectly!!! It's amazing how strong the morevia is . My favourite off road recovery vehicle. A beautiful body with the class , and a beautiful creation, I love it , ed you make the adventure great just being there, I love to see the trails and the very different places you take us to, the camera work is epic!!! Lizzy is very competent and skilled at driveing .Matt's just the greatest father and husband and the best off road recovery boss I have ever seen. Rudy!!! Your a real great character and I just don't want to go on and on telling you something you all already know. I'm in New Zealand and I'm just captured by Matt's off road recovery's. When I see a new video uploaded I'm looking forward until the moment when I can sit back and injoy the show... I'm addicted and will be until you stop making videos, And I'm hoping that won't ever happen, your like family to me and I really love you all. Keep doing what you do because it's definitely working 😋 big love from me way down under here in New Zealand 💕
Lizzie deserves 10 atta-boys for that one. Thanks guys. Watching Matt’s off Road is better than watching a Jazz Game😃
No wonder he is out of oil. NO SKID Plate! Beautiful but Holy F.... country! Good driving Rudy. Never say whoa in a bad spot. Nice job Liz.
No, there was a skid plate. It had just been beat to heck and was no longer providing any protection. It should have been replaced or taken off, heated up in a fire and beat back straight.
@@The_Opinion_of_Matt A proper Skid plate does not bend and wrinkle like that one. Should be 1/4" t minimum IMHO.
@@gordbaker896 Yeah, looked like the stock one to me. More for aerodynamics and a little skid plate protection.
@@The_Opinion_of_Matt Thanks for your reply. Your Business is SAFE! Always Well Done and successful outcome. I shudder to think of some of the Tow Bill$. HI to Ed.
@@gordbaker896 I'm not Matt from Matt's Off Road Recovery. I'm just some random working class Matt. Just don't want Matt to get wrongly associated with me.
Trevor, what a guy! Jogging and keeping up, interviewing and taking pictures, great ones at that! Excellent, way to go, Trevor!👍
Can we all take a moment and give Lizzie a round of applause for her critical thinking and precision at 12:42!
👏 👏👏👏👏
You didn’t quite shoot the moon, but there was an attempt! 😂
But she lost points for running over the rope😁
@@jimcollins8097 that was unavoidable, in my opinion. At least it wrapped only once. 😉
"Leaving our favorite restaurant, Maverick." I've noticed that gas and grub are often acquired at the same stop, that's just efficiency!
Love Ed in these videos. He reminds me of my father in law. 88 years young and still going. Just retired from driving a semi a few years ago.
Keep staying young .
Y’all do so many different camera angles and that’s what sets y’all apart from the rest 👊👊👊👊👊
I don't know what everyone thinks, but I believe it was totally Matt's fault that Lizzy ran over the rope. He wants her to drive up the rollback. So what does he do? He comes to a stop and lets the rope go slack. Totally his fault. Great video. Just dandy! Way to go Ed!
@@MattsOffRoadRecovery She was in a hurry to get pizza! No time for winching.
@@MattsOffRoadRecovery You are right of course. She shouldn't have run over the rope, and the plan to load it should have been discussed. Great video anyway!!
I grew up in Southern Utah. Not only do you guys do great work, but you're showcasing the abundant beauty of the area. I can see why people keep getting stuck out there.
You and your crew are turning this business into a fine art of uneven motion.
Great driving from lizzy, liked how she just went right on to the roll back.👍
Great recovery, as always! I'll admit I flinched when Lizzie ran over the rope coasting up that rollback, ha!
I feel like I know Lizzy a little bit better....... "Lizzy Hydrates at home!" 😂😂😂😂😅
I'm far away, but I would buy a plane ticket just to have a pizza and a cold beer with Ed there, reminds me of my late grandfather. Thanks guys for the entertainment, keep it up!
You guys always makes the impossible really possible...thumbs up to you all. Trevor needs to get an award for great filming though
The EIS on those GoPros and/or Warp Stabilizer is pretty impressive when Trevor is running next to the trucks 🤘🏻
Right on time, needed this a little extra today. Thanks for always keeping up with good content and great attitudes.
Hey Matt /// Rudy & Lizzy & Of course Ed & Trevor !! Great recovery with NO damage to Customer's truck !! Hope they didn't run the motor with NO oil !! Have a cool week & ""KEEP IT SAFE "" !! Now onto the recovery of ED'S ""JEEP"" in CA.. !!!
9:54 Trevor doing better journalism than I've seen on TV in years.
I love your channel! A few weeks ago my family and I were at the beach in Eureka, CA and got stuck in the sand. We were in a tundra with a pop up camper on back. Totally buried. It was 630 at night, we were 75 yards from the water, everyone had left, the fog was rolling in and a local had told us that the tide would wash our truck away if we weren't out by midnight. We were trippin hard. We got a hold of a guy with a bitchin late model jeep with big tires, a winch and tow strap. that guy had us out of there in no time. We paid him $450 and we were happy to pay it. It was the first time that I felt like I was in a really fucked situation with my family.
Trevor- you are funny! And you worked super hard filming that recovery 💪🥵 Great job buddy!
Watch out Lizzy! Trevor will be a competitor in the next rodeo 🐴 If a spare tire is involved 😂
So much fun for a tough recovery ❤️🐞
Trevor kills me, does the most random shit while running around
I got far too excited for this video thinking it was Ed’s Suzuki 😂
Me to 😢
Yup that intro video amped up the hype, can't wait to see the rest.
So did I 😂 can’t wait to see that one
It really warms my heart that you guys include Ed in everything. He's awesome.
Trevor's beard blowing in the wind when he runs is fantastic! He's my favorite mountain goat lol
Impressive driving there Lizzy! Nailed the deck dead centre and did a NASCAR style stop at the perfect moment, that’s how you friggin load a tow truck!!!👍
Yep - and with no power steering or power brakes. That vehicle would have felt like a 50 year old truck to drive.......
Freaked out the tow truck driver to. 😳😆
@@garlanminton7084 I thought they had to blur out his mouth - but then realized it was for the license plate!
But she ran over the rope
only downside is she ran over the rope and almost got it caught
I always appreciate that Matt tries the fun way of doing things first. Sure you could drive around like Rudy did, but why not do a little rock crawling first?
When I was watching Matt try his way, I thought Rudy’s way appeared much more efficient.
@@jeffreeves1567 well, sure, but a challenge is always fun. ☺️
The more you watch the more impressed how the Morrvair just eats up these challenges. 4 wheel drive builders should hold their heads down a little after watching the capability you built into this rig. Truly impressive.
Ed is a national treasure - so even keeled and always a smile.
Credit to Trevor making that running uphill, over loose rocks, look so easy AND while having a conversation.
...and stuck between moving vehicles and a sharp dropoff.
Everyone love’s Ed he’s a heck of a man and a sweet person great narrating Trevor.
Trevor cracks me up. He's almost ready to host Good Morning America.
Don't degrade his name and personality like that! 🤣
I love to see the camera work and articulation of the Morvair.
Love these videos!! Reminds me of when I was a kid and my pops use to take us 4x4 during our vacations in Baja. Some of the Roads are mostly dirt and rock. Good old fun!! He drove a GMC panel Truck and my seat belt was his arm.
You guys are the ultimate adventurers. It's like this is your job, your fun, your comradery, all wrapped up in one. You guys are all truly blessed to do what you do, and to have each other doing it with you.
