Whenever I try to explain Hitman to someone I end up going on for like half an hour before I get self conscious that I’m boring them. I could go on for days about how much I love this game. How amazingly the developers balance realism, unintentional comedy, cinematic epicness, and the ludicrously illogical to make a near perfect trilogy of games where rules and mechanics make sense in relation to the game, if not always in relation to reality.
Whenever I try to explain Hitman to someone, I always tell them how I got Hitman 2: Silent Assassin as a 8yo and thought it was funny to kill people and undress them. But of course now that I'm 26yo it's a great game despite that.
the dedication this team has had for the hitman series has me hyped for the 007 game they're working on. and I haven't really been interested in the Bond series since the N64. but with IOI's engine and history with agent 47 I have no doubt they're gonna make a great modern take on the classic
I thought my hdr was broken for a moment until I checked gameplay for this version. Played through Hitman 3 with 1 and 2 loaded in a while back on Series X. Bought World of Assassination for PS5 as it was on sale and I wanted to check out any haptics, and finally realized that they changed some things cosmetically specifically for this version. Moreso, 47’s face has been aged a bit, and the wax like shine on his bald ass head has been lessened considerably. Considering both were memes (reflective baldness and getting younger every game) I am actually impressed they have their finger on the pulse of the community to the degree they do. Even if it did drive me insane for a good few hours as I have not seen anyone discuss this (probably because anyone already owning the trilogy wouldn’t have bought it again here, unless in the tiny minority such as myself).
Hitman’s definitely one of the most underrated game franchises of all time. Absolute hidden gem, great job IOI! Edit: Sorry guys, I may have forgotten just how idiotic and dumb the internet can be. I’m sorry for starting a huge fight in the replies 🙂
How is Hitman a hidden gem? It's literally an AAA Title with 50 Million players worldwide, hidden gem is something that is hidden with few players. Hitman is one of the biggest franchises ever.

From a commercial standpoint I don't understand how they make money with this mode? There are no microtransactions? So how is this gonna profit their company, that's all I'm wondering right now. As for now i've played 1 contract on Freelancer and i'm already liking this mode!
I had hitman 3 on PS4 then got the free PS5 version now it adds hitman 1 and 2 I’m glad because i wasn’t going to put the pass it was to much and it has haptic feedback on PS5
It's not typically game developers that make pricing and package decisions. That's a few tiers higher than the developers. The developers are just wanting to make certain the game assets interact well with each other, the NPCs operate correctly, the levels have enough weapons, etc... It's the upper echelon of a gaming studio that make the pricing decisions.
I love how with the new freelancer mode it genuinely feels like the world map is opening up. I hope they continue to add new levels that make the world map feel expansive.
Finished hitman 2 a couple years ago and had soooo much fun. Then got hitman 3 for Christmas this year and have played a little and love it, so to now also have hitman 1 is awesome. IOI is one of my favorite game studios now
lucky me. but im a little confused. i saw my friend had hitman 2 with every dlc and it was over 100 gb but this one seems only 70 gb and its got all 3 games? how
Great job ioi team! I've been enjoying the games since hitman blood money, and this trilogy keeps getting better! I've done pretty much everything in the game, and I was really waiting forward to this update (the players contracts helped me waiting guys) If anyone is new to this game, enjoy this great package and welcome to a really great game and fanbase!
This Trilogy is an absolute masterpiece and I am proud to be playing this series for the last 7 years... It gives me a true next gen feel where every room in the entire level is enterable and every object can be interacted with in various ways and NPCs react to different situations and things in different ways.... It gives me so much freedom in planning my attacks and setting traps for accident kills... It all feels so satisfying....
You said it all. This trilogy IS one game upgraded games After games, I would have Never trust anyone if you had tell me back then that the FIFA method (episodic) would be the good one for such a great franchise.
I support. A first-person Hitman would be interesting too. Here Hitman VR goes like a first person and it's very cool to play like that, but who doesn't have VR equipment, he won't play like that. And if you make a PC version of the game with this mode, it will be even cooler! Where is it interesting to send an offer to IOI?
I played Hitman from the original title, this games should be in the Smithsonian, masterclass in gameplay and replay value, cant wait to get out of work and download new content

Their bald and barcode tattooed son. And thanks IOI! Back in 2001, after getting back from school, my first job was to turn on my Pentium III PC and run Hitman Codename 47. After 22 years, still getting the same feeling of joy, when come back home and turn on my PC to play some more Hitman.
The amount of times ill play some of my favorite maps over and over just to try new ways to beat it is amazing. You guys have done an amazing job on this! can't wait for more hitman!
They did give up with Hitman: Absolution. Contracts missions online only and they did shutdown servers. No possible to make 100% achievement hunting. At least on pc.
This game is like no other. The endless possibilities are mind blowing. I always come back to this game and find new things and new ways to take out my targets. Truly great!
The contents missing now are the trinity pack for people who don't pre-order the game, progress transfer unlockables especially the black winter suit, elusive targets that haven't rerun yet, and the Sarajevo Six missions

Just finished the main campaign of all the seasons. Really glad to see how these come under one game now. World of Assassination is a fitting name since its trailer. One of the best stealth games ever
It was an amazing journey. The Hitman trilogy is pure perfection and amount of content is simply amazing. I envy people who still didn't play it - you can now witness complete package and dive into incredible world of assassination. :)
Totally unrelated but I always wished they would make a game based on the "Archer" TV series. I know they are making a Bond game which would be similar. But I think the art style of Archer would make for a great game as well and seems like a perfect fit for them. Hell I would even trust them with a new Splinter Cell game over Ubisoft.

Thank you so much for this update. It's literally a game mode I would never imagine could happen, but you guys made it ridiculously fun! I'm loving the mode so much. But, please ignore the angry people cause the things I'm seeing them complain about are usually the things that make the game mode fun and unique! The difficulty is perfect and I love having to improvise with whatever I have in the situation.

As someone who never quite "got" the episodic releases, this is EVERYTHING right? All games, all levels, all content, all in one package? No more DLC or episodes or additions? If so, I'm definitely willing to finally jump in properly.
All that's missing now for me is the ability to choose between the 2016, 2 and III menu tracks. Even though I own everything I'm happy that new players will actually be able to just buy one game without having to figure out what bundles they need to buy.
Hey I had claimed the epic games free hitman 1 (2016) goty edition in Aug 2020. But now it is not showing. Did you removed it because of combining hitman 1 and 2 in world of assassination package. This is insane.
Having gone back and played some fo the older hitman games recently (contracts, silent assassin etc) I really appreciate being able to bring back weapons you pick up like in those games very good mechanic 👍

Cause the game is only playable online. and if you do offline your achievements is gone and unlocked weapons cannot be use.

Nothing can stop you until you lose your internet connection, the is very much still essentially always online.
