A8 ... who needs roomcorrection, it only makes things worse! Proper placement of the speakers, some basic room treatment and if your speakers need some adjustments then the 10 channel DSP can correct for that. Using the A8 for some time now and very happy with its sound quality, connectivity and capabilities!

10 is way overpriced. Get the A6 and use a nice ext DAC. I got the 8 though I’m still using my Accuphase DAC so I should have really got the 6 and saved about $2,000.
I have an A8 its an amazing piece. However the lack of a room EQ is very disappointing considering it available in a Bluesound for less than half the price. Its a big factor as i now need to buy or get an expert to tune mine properly . Hopefully it will be available in a future update it really does make a remarkable difference.
Honestly, you dont need room correction when you have parametric eq. All you have to do is buy a cheap measurement mic and use a laptop to record your room, then use the eq in the a8 to manually correct for room response. Take another measurement. See the difference. Repeat, until flat response.
@@INeedsMoneysYou don’t need to do that much work. The A8 is capable of taking the REW correction/adjustment file so it’s only one more step than built in.

A8 all the way, price and funktion!

DMP-a8 has I2S and is the clear winner for half the price. I plan to use a better external dac so most of the upgrades mean nothing to me.
You might as well buy the A6 then.

What matters is the quality of playing, not room correction.
Thanks for sharing your thought
With the announcement of EDRC coming to the DMP-A8 with an EM-01
I think that the value proposition is even greater.
Could you explain what EDRC is? Thanks.

We will know which one fits us best once reviewers are able to put them side to side and compare the sound. A10 looks like a serious piece of kit!

A8 all the way, the A10 is a sad joke for it's price. Especially after they removed the i2s.

They should put room correction in their A6.
I’d trade a stupid volume knob screen for a sub out any day.
Thanks for your comment
Why not connect to your amp through XLR mad then you have L&R RCA outputs to dual subs if you wish.. Use the bass management features on the subs.
Eversolo's DMP series started out very impressive and cost-effective. The A10 totally trashes all that, as it's both ugly and ridiculously expensive.
If Eversolo's DMP A-6, A-8 & A-10 are so good, why do they only come with a 1-year warranty?
Industry standard
I just bought one from the UK and most of the dealers are offering a free 5 year warranty .. So they clearly have faith in them ..
They are pretty basic build internally. They get the job done ok though. I have the 8.
