My sound situation is quite a headache. My old 4790k system had x6 3.5 jacks and my system used x3 of them as outputs. Since I upgraded to a 12900k it's only got one output and one input and I can't remap the mic input to be an output as I could with my old setup. I also want to run x3 computers through the same sound systems. I tried getting a certain cheapish mixer that if worked right would be perfect, especially for it's size. I bought x2 through 2 different vendors and both of them did not function right in different ways. It's very frustrating trying to adapt my old sound system to this new setup. I'm likely going to have to save up for a better mixer, but all the alternatives to the x2 that did not work- they're huge! I didn't just buy the cheapies because of price, I bought them because they were small, and I cannot find another mixer that small which can handle x3 inputs with 4+ outputs- all I need is volume knobs for the each output channels and knobs for the inputs. Maybe I should just make my own damn mixer- everything that fits my criteria is big and has way more features than I need.... I have the knowledge, but time is the true enemy. *I don't need super-high quality so much as I need the ability to control many inputs/outputs individually.

IMO buying a high quality (or pricey) DAB radio in UK just doesn't make sense considering the current state of DAB in UK. In order to squeeze more stations into a limited band, most of the UK DAB channels broadcast at bitrate of 128kbps mp2 or 64kbps aac in DAB+ format (or even lower), the chance is any half decent mp3 player could easily beat it in term of sound quality by playback of 320kbps mp3 or 256kbps aac music files (let alone lossless flac/alac playback on HiFi DAP). Unless one is really obsessed with the content of the DAB, to me it hardly make sense to pay anything more than £30 for a DAB (which will give you pretty much all the features most folks will ever need), to me, if you are not really into the exclusive content on DAB, there are plenty of FM/AM radio out there do a better job in term of sound quality, at a lower price, with better battery life.

A noob question like this shouldn't be asked. As a former Club DJ for 45 years, producer/remix artist, singer/drummer, audiophile, music/vinyl collector, headphone enthausiast/designer... In my experience, I never seen a club (1,500 2,500 seating capacity) using tiny speakers to pump or power and the place up. It's the same situation with headphones, the bigger the size of the driver...the better. Why? The less volume and proximity to your ears and the driver the better you get to hear the music plus you get the benefit without damaging your ears in lesser volume compared to smaller drivers being set at higher volume. Plus, larger drivers will last longer. I know the technolgy does help at the expense of overpowering a tiny driver to achieve what larger driver can do, but you'll need more power to drive those and it needs to be sufficient along with high tech materials being used which will up the cost. But 70mm is more likely enough for a headphone especially the Dynamic ones. But then again, try to setup in your room (at least) a small driver speakers and a large full speakers. You'll see the difference. Big drivers are capable of vibrating your rooms (ears, head 😅) while smaller once sometimes but mostly don't or don't last that long (as it will get damaged easily). Hope this helps.

I have a few DAB radios. The buttons and dials on these seem to degrade with age. Some buttons need a very hard press now or even the next button's function is activated by the adjacent button! Dials slip too, which means a twist does not correspond to the channel chosen. This is why I would like remote control too as a option. The lcd panel designs I like as they carry programme information with not need to wait for scrolling as on a single line display.

Zoom is very easy make tones without computers ..Its simple and easy ..The worst to me are the Boss ME series .While GT series are great ..I have an old GT6..I dont need anyother units it has everything .Now i am concentrating on upgrading my Guitar instead of buying new units .If any pedal units doesn't get quality frequency input then it won't be able to output good sound .I prefer single units but since i play mostly bollywood music professionally which is a cocktail of all types of different jounras and tones also have to carry on my back to the band car i dont use my boss pedal board which is heavy and big almost half the size of a keyboard..In rock concerts I use pedal boards which is not professional just to quench my thirst because i am a headbanger..Tried to love pop.Indian classical but couldn't..so actually i am playing music which i dont love just for some extra income and going live .It becomes an addiction playing live .The fun with musicians .The night highway.Its not easy to play commercial music because of the number of stocks i have to have .

My speaker worked fine for a few months, now though even when paired and connected to my phone no sound comes out. volume on both device turned up. The sound on other devices works fine when connected to the phone, so no phone problem.

My new expensive PC doesn't have a microphone jack and the headphone/mic splitter creates noise. Do I need a usb sound card or it could be that the splitter/adapter is bad quality?

Doesnt matter how good the JBLs are, they are known for the microphone and Audio turning completely off at random times. I have 810s and 910s this happens on both, tried on several different computers and the problem is well known. The best they will do is send you a new dongle. With this in mind, since this is a huge problem most reviews for JBLs are irrelevant. Until they fix the Dongle to the headset JBL is pure trash

Neither. Audio just isn't expensive enough. Come back when you can find a $50,000 audio streamer.
