In actual mythology, Hades' realm, Underworld, consisted of 3 areas: Tartarus (basically hell and prison for Titans), Elysium (paradise for heroes, kings and basically Greek Valhalla), and Asphodel (situated in the middle, being a quiet, calm and pretty tranquil realm for simple and decent people). In no ways did Hades actually resent his post, in fact, he actually appreciated it and did like his job. Out of all the Gods, he actually had a pretty much good life: loving wife, ever expanding realm and populace, all of the riches in the world, basically being the strongest of Cronus' sons. Heck, I even heard a version where Persephone being allowed to go back to Olympus was actually his idea, for sake of Demeter and mortals, meaning he is selfless like that. Really wish we could get a media where Hades is actually portrayed as not any type of villain, but more of supportive neutral or positive person.
Not necessarily ever expanding, if I remember correctly in Greek myth Hades had the Lethe river which if drunk would allow a soul to forget memories of its previous life and be reborn as someone new.
@@bashirjamilu6367 Waaaay better looking, right?!😍😍😏😏 *Fun fact:* Hades was known for being the most handsome out of the three Supreme God Brothers. Just like in the show here.

I Agree with Hades his Kingdom was every bit his prison. In time even he was poisoned by its toxic influence. Warping his mind and appearance he was tormented just like the souls he has dominion over.
I’d find it funny if a mortal took hades place and actually made the underworld a decent place. Found or created good soothing the dead into restful sleep
all of this couldve been prevented if the arrogant Olympians invited Hades to hangout or mingle. he is allowed to leave the underworld for almost a day, right?
Oh Hades instead of being the dutifully one thinking that Zeus would play fair was your biggest mistake, you should have done both moral, gods hell all of Greece a favor and challenged Zeus for the throne because I have no doubt in a one on one fight Hades would wrack Zeus.
Yea, thanks to his Shadow abilities Hades can easily teleport away from the lightning Zeus would be summoning and would easily infinite combo him like how he did with Ares but the problem is Hera’s telekinesis can just grab him and throw him away unless he’s fast enough to teleport away or to quickly take her out.
@@phoebeyuan2654 I was thinking one on one, but you make a good point if the fight did happen and it look like for even a second Zeus would lose Hera would step in another reason don't to like her, also remember when Hades said if he stays away form the underworld he starts to feel pain, but Poisden doesn't when he leaves the sea, it seems to me that the curse was put on Hades only to keep in check.
@@phil.moloney2980 That does make a good point as well maybe thats the reason why Hades need the stone as Zeus probably had Hetake (the same Witch that imprisoned Typhon) cast a curse on Hades to weaken him as Persephone ate the food of the dead but when she leaves the Underworld she had no pain which could have mean Zeus knowing that Hades might cause a uprising and can easily destroy him, decideds to ask Hetake to cast a curse on him weakening him to protect his and Hera's throne.
@@phoebeyuan2654 That exactly what I was thinking and it really shows that Zeus was afraid of Hades, but you know what funny if Hades was in charge and married to Hera, she wouldn't be such a b# because Hades unlike his brothers is faithful to his wife, another reason why he should be in charge.

Zues is a freaking menace he fucks what ever that moves as long as he is satisfied to his lust he rapes, he cheats and gets away with it because he is the God among gods. I don't think he was trying to commit suicide. I think he was just trying to tune out the voices in his head.
Would've been admittedly funny if Poseidon appeared and be like yo...bro...you ok?

We should get a cinematic remaster of the Disney version of Hades as an anti-hero. Just like we got from the Maleficent movie.
Lmao no.
Percy Jackson's Disney+ show

Hades in Record of Ragnarok kinda fits that, he's a neutral party and is overall a highly respected God
Goddamn Hades was handsome pre Underworld.
And sadly the Underworld’s toxin ruined him
I think he's still quite dashing. Not as much as when he was young, but come on.
Better looking than Zeus.

Hades: "I don't."
This isn’t the time but Hades was a baddie before the Underworld poisoned him. Definitely the most handsome of the Olympian siblings.
And the most honorable and noble of the big 3.

Its deeper than that, Hades never wanted to rule the underworld. Much less live there.
why when the greek underworld is depicted, they show only the bad sides ? Why not show Elyseum too ?
This series does show Elysium though. It also depicts the judgement of the kings pretty thoroughly as well.
It does show Elysium. Asphodel as well.
