I'm sure both of your guys would have a lot to say about it, both good and bad, or mostly bad, or mostly good! Either way, I'd love to see it.
"I don't know what all the fuss is about, I saw the movie 6 times, IT RULED!"
-Jim Carrey on Waterworld from The Cable Guy
long gong
That would be awesome to see James and Mason do Waterworld...that movie was atrocious !!!!
You should do "spectacular spiderman" - it's an amazing show
Yea bro!
Are you saying that it’s an Amazing Spider-Man??
@@JoshuaBarberShoppe pun very much intended 😜
My favorite line from spider wars"this is starting to sound like a bad comic book plot" the creators took a shot at the clone saga and it's hilarious 😂😂
I love how this video went from a review abou the finale to a full on review of the entire show! This show is epic!
I like the belive Disney's "the little mermaid" functions as season 6 of this series. After Madam Web sends Peter Parker to days of early age of exploration, he loses his memory and thinks he's a prince named Eric, but he doesn't forget that he's their looking for the love of his life which is why before he's even seen Ariel he says "I know she's out there somewhere". Then when he meets Ariel he immediately falls in love because of her red hair and firey spirit. She matches the woman he is looking for.
Why do I find way more interesting crossover ideas in UA-cam joke comments than fanfiction sites?
@@SimonBuchanNz what's another good one you've found in the comments? And I wasn't joking, I really like to head canon that. Same voice actor plays Spiderman and Prince Eric and that's cool.
@@danieldishon688 Evangelion with the Simpsons. "Bart! Get in the robot!" "Eat my shorts!" "Why you little!"
I watched the Spider-Man: Unlimited show. Enjoyed it quite a bit. But I don't remember it quite as fondly as The Spectacular Spider-Man. That show was perfection.
the three robot spiders that stack on top of each other were the coolest thing I ever played with
Nobody talks about how green goblin’s *death* in this series is mimicked in the Raimi movie
For a future Caravan of Garbage, I'd love to see you both tackle Spider-man: Shattered Dimensions considering the connection to the Spiderverse. The writer behind that game, Dan Slott went on to write the Spiderverse comics which in turn inspired the movie.
It wasn't garbage though.
@@TheIllustriouBlueJay Not everything that they cover on caravan of garbage, is in itself garbage. It's just a series name. They've covered stacks of good stuff (that they've actually said is good themselves) in the past.
"Yeah, no, that portals closed now man.." *Dr. Strange slowly slides the manhole cover back over the "portal" with his foot*
I love this episode of the 1990's Spider-Man. Another good one involves an alien race putting Peter Parker on a planet with super villains and he recruits Iron Man, Captain America, Storm, and Fantastic Four.
That was their version of the original Secret Wars
I'd love to see a HD version of this series with only small edits like commercial breaks removed and a continuation.
But more than anything, a tease in spiderverse part 1
Loved this show as a kid still have the Venom and Doc Ock Spider-Man toys in a draw somewhere. Loved that this show would bring in other heroes like Blade, Punisher and Daredevil.
had dr michael dracula too but he couldn't drink blood so absorbed 'plasma' through weird hand suckers haha
“That’s right! That’s f$@&ing RIGHT!!!” I swear to god the very end of this video made me laugh way more than it should’ve
Mary Jane being banished to the Shadow Realm was the first time I laughed out loud as a kid on a show I took very seriously. Its still hillarious to this day.
The shadow realm! This show is connected to yugioh!
the portal thing was set up pretty well throughout the season tbh.
Recently learned it's a misconception about this show "not being allowed" to have Spider-Man punching.
People tend to think this show was overly censored or whatever, but it recieved the same type of censorship as any other cartoon at the time.
This comes from the showrunner himself.
(In the video it's the guy that talked about season 6 and released the script)
I loved this series as a kid, i hope it gets a second chance like xmen '97
As a born and raised (and will probably Die as a ) New Yorker I love how you say “home of the nets” as you show the worlds most famous arena and home of the Knicks. Madison Square Garden.
These Spider-man series were goated 🐐
As a 90’s kid i grew up watching these seasons on repeat.
Maso saying the Nets while showing Spider-Man swing thru Madison Square Garden hurts my soul
Gotta love this channel. The boys are always so in sync with one another another they finish each other's, sandwiches.
You could even say they finish each other’s BigSandwich.cos, you could!
The low point of Frozen to me personally
The Spider Man scream when MJ vaporizes was amazing
If you can, try the Alien Costume trilogy, its one of the most iconic parts of the series, even creating the original canon that 'the Venom symbiote drives its host mad'.
OK that keyblade gag with the spideys visiting Stan Lee was top notch give your editor a raise
Ben with superb editing again! I caught that Kingdom Hearts Easter egg!!
I want to see the real spider-verse, spider-man wars: perfection
As a kid I Ioved this arc and Armored Spiderman was so cool lol, I remember playing him as well in Marvel vs Street Fighter 🤣
5:31 wait... they had a Doc Ock Spiderman back in 1997? Before the 2013 Superior Spiderman?
This series was the show that made Spider-Man my favorite super hero.
In Canada, punches are only permitted during hockey games.
I was going to recommend the Toei spiderman and then you blew my simple human mind at the end. These have been extra rad lately
Hahaha 🤣 "Spider-Man, this time around, is getting his _jimmies rustled_ by both the Beyonder and Madame Web."
“Do a capitalism!”
- Uncle Ben
"that's fucking RIGHT!.... YEAH!!"
Is this James at... 100%?!?!
I found the idea of Madame web interesting, would have liked another season of this series.
She was actually from the comics. I have a few issues with her in it but I can't remember what her point was.
You can throw a man across a room and bounce his spine off of some lab equipment but you can't punch someone in the face. Got it.
As a Canadian I’ll have you we have plenty of violence here, my friend hit me with a snowball last week and I still don’t know if I can forgive him
I always enjoy when a comic book story arc shows up on Caravan of Garbage. Erik Larsen’s Revenge of the Sinister Six story in Spider-Man #18-#23 is something I would luv to see on here.
I feel James's parents could well be related, which would explain a great deal about James...
I'm honestly hyped that they're doing Supaidaman next
Me and my 9 year old daughter knocked out this entire series in a few weeks before moving onto X men. Loved it 😍
Followed by Batman the Animated Series??? (If you're gonna watch these two classics, then you *must* finish the trifecta of epic animated series!)
Have to do that with my son! I wonder about the order because of the crossovers.
I've watched this series so many times over the years since I was a kid and I enjoy it every time.
10:57 I think I did a spit take at the face reveal of James’ parents.
It's clear which one he takes after.
I think it's him aged up and gender swapped, respectively.
@@jaredgorrell1108 Do you really think so? 🤔
@@jaredgorrell1108 You know, you might be onto something there. Keep digging!
@@jaredgorrell1108 That's preposterous.
Spider-Man TAS is the greatest thing ever in the history of anything ever and I won’t hear otherwise
Spider-Man Unlimited was real good. I hope they make the lost season 6 though, that would rock!
Since this and Spectacular never got their last season. I really doubt Unlimited would
Caravan of Garbage - Spectacular Spiderman
(It’s the best show by far)
I LOVE jerk Uncle Ben : "Do a Capitalism !!!"
They made them call the Sinister Six the Insidious Six but literally like 3 episodes later in the X-Men crossover they’re talking about genocide. Can’t say Sinister but we can talk Genocide.
Would you consider, please, doing an episode on "The Spectacular Spider-Man"? I mean, I'm 35 and I do have very fond memories of this series, but The Spectacular Spider-Man was BY FAR one of the best comic book animations EVAH! I'm talking Batman the Animated Series level here, I'm sure you guys know it.
PS: Fuck X-MEN 97, Disney should have brought TSS back since they've been fucking up Spiderman on cartoons ever since.
Yea bro, Spectacular Spider-man is the tv animated version of Spider-man, for sure. In the other Spider-man cartoon Peter Parker always looks like a 30 year old man. I like high school Peter.
as a Canadian i can confirm when you go into a restaurant u have to check your arms in at the door
I will leave a like OUT OF PURE SPITE
Man I hope they do give us a final season of this. I loved this and X-Men as a kid.
You guys neglected to mention how great a job Christopher Daniel Barnes did voicing Peter Parker/Spidey. Terrific voice work throughout all seasons. I think his awesome relatable performance was a key part of why the show was so beloved.
5:11 That’s madam egg, able to see the sea-men’s across every dimension
