    Awesome! I am really trying to get more into 3D modeling, could you share what happened at 3:01? It looked like you drew the neck section and somehow extruded it, thanks!

      I drew out a mask in the shape of the neck, inverted it and pulled out the neck with the snake hook brush. :)

    I'd like a non sped up version personally.

    How are you able to prevent the clay from destroying one side of your mesh? I'm just starting to learn and I've run into this problem a lot.

      Do you mean when the model is very thin? There's a setting in the brush settings under "Advanced" called "Front Faces Only". That might fix it. :)

      @@Noggi_3D yeah usually around necks it does that. I'll be sure to try that. Thank you very much!

    Where did you get that Fill/Deepen Brush from? :D

    • @Noggi_3D

      It's a standard sculpting brush. I don't know when they've added it. I'm using version 3.0 :)

    What size do I have to use for the remesh size? I’m having trouble with the remeshing size with most of my sculpts..

    • @Noggi_3D
      @Noggi_3D  Рік тому

      If my sculpt resolution is too low I just sample the current resolution (with the sampler next to the remesh value) and divide it by 2 or 4. The size is very dependent on the scale of the sculpt. :)

    sorry, why you call it hard serf? Isn't it organic?

    • @Noggi_3D
      @Noggi_3D  2 роки тому +4

      Hard surface means, stuff like machines with smooth surfaces and hard edges. :)

    • @alexanderdorenkamp

      Well he is organically modeling hard surfaces technically

      @@Noggi_3D not entirely correct though. It more than that: it should mimic real life hard/stiff/non organic materials: like metal welded/bend etc.. Your helmet does not resemble a hard kind of material, because it's all wobby, like organical materials (e.g. a plant, meat etc)

    hard surface through sculpting isn't blenders forte.. better use 3d coat or zbrush for that, they have proper tools to do that.

      I agree, but it was a good exercise. :)
