I really hope blender would implement a built in layer. for sculpting. 😅 there are times that I have to smooth a little área but I will need to re do other details too 😂 my older is for every project is full or back files just in case got lazy
@@danieluorji well it needs more RAM and makes more calculations because it multiplies the amount of data your object has, so if you don't have enough RAM to store the different versions of the model, then it will sace it on the disc and that is slow. not having enough RAM is one of the main reasons why computer can get slower if the CPU or GPU isn't at 100% constantly if it gets slower. layers dublicate your object and if your object has a few million points the amount of data can go really fast into the Gb range of uncompressed data that is stored inside the RAM.
I have Quad Remesher. I love it, but I don't really use it that much for sculpting. It is more useful (for me) after sculpting when I need a quick way to make my sculpted models game ready.
@@dougwarner59 It does produce quick results for that purpose. Manual retopo still has its place in instances where your topology and counts need to be super precise. The middle ground is to use auto retopology tools like Quad Remesher as a starting point and then tweaking the mesh from there. There's no "one size fits all" solution when it comes to this stuff. Just use whatever works.
Based on what happened with the excellent Vox (Voxel Tools) add-on, I can make an educated guess. Apparently, the developer was Russian. Because of the war time sanctions being placed on Russia and those handling payments to Russian businesses, Blender Market had to pull his add-on. That's why he made it available for free recently. I wouldn't be shocked to learn that the majority of the add-ons getting yanked recently are all coming fro Russian developers. It's a shame that it's happening since the devs have nothing to do with what's going on in Ukraine, but doing this in such a sweeping manner is the only surefire way to limit funds going into Russia and limit their power.
yeah but zbrush is subscription only now. sure there's zbrush mini which is free, but it's very limited in what it can do. There's also core, but that is paid and likely also sub only now.
I own Sculpt Layers, Sculpt Wheel, Easy Silhouette, G-Lasso, Speed Sculpt. All amazing tools I couldn't live without!
What are the benifit of sculpt layer

I'd have probably also added Exoside's Quad Remesher to the list. Essential for the overall process.

Alt + Q changes objects in Sculpt mode
it is very hidden and non discoverable easily but yes it is already possible to switch objetcs in sculp mode.
wait what for real? how tf do I not know about this NotLikeThis
not just the sculpt mode tho
QUESTION - Aren't JSculpt and SpeedSculpt kinda doing the same thing? Is it good to have both, or just one of them? And if so, whihc one?
Finally, sculpturing layers. It should be native.
구속조건준 1개의 물체를 움직이면 다른 물체도 같이 움직이는데 어떻게 하신거죠? 설정법이 있나요?
Awesome video! I like it! Thank you so much!
Any add on you recommend for sculpting hair?
I wonder why Bumarin For Sculptor and Bumarin Sculpture Pencils are no longer available?
Sculpt Layers addon seem to be removed :(
Not 100% sure but you can use shape keys instead
It’s still on blender market
Holy shit ,, this one blew my mind!!! Thanks!!
all great tools, thank you
The part for the 2nd addon where u talk about generating a mesh from bones, how do you do that?
2nd last*
skin modifier. works with curves and polylines too.
I wish I had some money to buy these addons, they look great
crack my friend
@@wr31rf I'm not able to find or install crack

Sculpt Layers is on Gumroad
Looks like Sculpt Layers isn't available any more or has moved somewhere else
same as me
It’s on Blendermarket
What the heck is going on over at Blender Market? So many plugins are getting pulled??
Maybe blender market promotes other addons with bias.

It may be not sufficient

You see "sc..." doesn't work.
What is the most lucrative freelance work you can do with Blender? I've been a cad designer for years and want to branch into something more creative.

It is bad behavior to sell addons for free software. That destroys the blender concept.
More paid addons that comes for free with zbrush... but hey again, blender is """"""free""""
If money is your sticking point, I take it you aren't using the product with a continual subscription fee?
@@o00nemesis00o My point is, in the end i will have to pay for both, so why choose the obviously inferior software for it?
