Beautiful Bike! Beautiful Color! Awesome price! Canyon is Awesome! 😎👍
Great detailed Video, helped Me decide on getting the same Model. Just One Question, What Side Brake Lever is Your Front Brake operated with?. Reason being, that mine has arrived with the Hoses Crossed over each other instead of the neat install Your Bike and the Factory images show. I have been advised by Canyon that I can get them swapped over by my Local Bike Mechanic, but I am a bit dubious that this really can be done. Thanks.
Congratulations on your new bike! In Europe, the front brake operates using the left lever, similar to mine. This contrasts with the setup typically found on motorcycles. However, it's important to note that practices may vary across regions. For instance, in the UK, the front brake operates using the right lever.
Bikes in a real-people video allways look different and in this case, better. I´m balncing between this one and the Grail CF SL 7 with GRX 12 sp. Being more of a roadie, I tend to the latter, but that bike really looks better than I sexpected.
Thank you..soo nice...I am between exactly the same bike Grizl and the Specialized Crux as both are actually have same price here. Canyon of course has better specs, but the Crux looks amazing and so classic it is hard to decide...
Very nice model and colour. Thanks for your video
Very keen to hear your thoughts once you've ridden a bit, I'm eyeing off one in red! Such a bargain.
I've had several shorter rides and one longer one (70km), and so far, I'm quite satisfied with it. However, everyone's needs and riding conditions vary. When it comes to the price, this bike offers unbeatable value for what you pay. I suspect the wheels might be where costs were saved. Compared to my older road bike, I've noticed that this bike grants me more freedom when planning trips. In fact, I'm seriously contemplating selling my road bike because of it.
@@BikeReady awesome! Sounds like a winner. How's the apex group set?
@@BikeReadydid you had trouble with tyre seating pt leaking by the joint/weld? DT Swiss Gravel LN, right?
I am a second before buying this one. But at some point I want to attach a rack for commuting to work which is not possible with a carbon frame. Anyway the SRAM AXS group at this price is unbeatable...
You can add the Tailfin as a rack. And I think the Aeroe can be had as well. Expensive, yes sir😅
Are you happy with it? There is so little info on it right now. Checks all my boxes and price is great.
Just got this bike and I'm still in the process of setting it up. Took it out for a ride once. The only downside during the decision-making process was the absence of a universal derailleur hanger. Nevertheless, the amazing price-to-value ratio convinced me to stop waiting and just go for it.
@@BikeReady “just go for it“ - great decision especially at this price point and with semi-integrated cabling. Good to go for all kinds of gravel rides and bikepacking.
May I kindly ask what size is that?? Thanks 🙏🏻
It’s size M
would new XLPR direct onto this and lose hanger ?
No, this bike doesn't have a Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH), but I believe the new model will use it.
Did you measure the weight?
Absolutely, in size M, the Canyon Grizl checked in at 9,585kg on the hanging scale.
what is the distance from the saddle to the bottom bracket axis? what is your inside leg length and height?
The distance from saddle to BB is 74cm. Inside leg measures 82cm, and the overall height is 183cm.
I am also thinking about buying this bike. But I can't decide on the size of the frame. My height is 179 and my leg length is 84. The frame size is suitable S and M@@BikeReady
@@Okis217 I am 178 with 83 inseam. So I would say our upper bodies have the same length. I tested both in Koblenz and size S felt too low in the front - length was fine. Size M was also fine, maybe a cm too long but you could always get shorter stem (from canyon), the grail in S fit me quite well.
