What were last two things/sleeves you attached?
Hi and many thanks for your video. 😉👌👍 Useful, well done, have a great continuation. 🙏😌
Can I use this on any bike? I.e specialized I like the design and sleekness of this bag.

Really nice bike ❤
Is it tubless ready ?
Yes!
Thank you..soo nice...I am between exactly the same bike Grizl and the Specialized Crux as both are actually have same price here. Canyon of course has better specs, but the Crux looks amazing and so classic it is hard to decide...
Just ordered this same bike. I got this over a Norco Optic c2. I took a risk on Canyon , hope it was a good decision.
Just got my mid loader recently and love the look of it. The only downside is that a 24oz bottle will not fit on the down tube and will barely fit on the seat tube. (I have a Canyon Grail CF SL 7 Gen 1 Size S) Other than that, it does look great and can fit about 3-4 beers or a bunch of candy.

The moment I saw those guardrails I knew exactly where it is haha. Nice setup, I bought the Grizl CF 8 Trail version few months ago as well, so there are now 2 of us in the region 😄Bought the same mudguards but can fit only the rear one because I have the front suspension and no mounting points there, so had to buy another front fender specially for the fork, but it is only a small one.
I'm glad to hear that. I'm curious, why did you choose the trail version? Are you planning to use it for bikepacking as well?
@@BikeReady I really like to ride in the forests and the suspension makes three bike so much better imo for that, but still wanted an all-rounder as it's my first bike
@@misopasko2614great pick! Even w/o lockout option. Enjoy the rough rides 🤘🏻
@@SoManyMiles Thanks, so far it's been great, after every ride I'm so grateful for choosing the suspension fork for my gravel bike
Hi hi! @misopasko2614 I also have the same trail version which is awesome! looking for mudguards. can you show me which one you bought for yours ? thanks alot!
nice 👍
Hello! Thanks for the video. Why is it "not Zefal" on the top of the frame? Did you try the Zefal and the result was bad? Thank you!
I have applied a foil that I found at home on the top tube of my bike. It's actually intended for a different purpose, so it's thinner and less flexible, making it a bit challenging to apply on non-flat surfaces. However, I've discovered that Zefal, being more flexible, makes it much easier to apply on tubes without causing bubbles. I've already purchased three packs of this Zefal skin armor.

750 is too big for L spectral???
Thanks for measuring power consumption, I looked specifically for that
Did you use real Pioneer brand ear pads? Looks like your new ones also come with the center fabric.
New ones are not real Pioneer
Hi, I am thinking of purchasing the 750ml bottle, can you tell me what the total height of it is, including the cap. Thanks.
I'm sorry, but I had to return the bottles because they didn't fit properly on my Canyon Spectral.
No worries, thank for replying anyways. I located the measurement online. Also they have a 600ml, 590ml and 450ml bottles so you might wanna look into it.
Care to share with us your height and inseam height also? I'm in between sizes and still not 100% sure of which size to pick. I'm 1.84 and my last bike was 58 size with 394 reach but high stack. So this one, as M got low stack bit the same reach. I would hate to use too many spacers below stem and on the other size, in case of L, it might be a stretched out situation due to high reach. Go figure.
I am 183.0 cm tall with an inner leg length of 82.0 cm, and my previous bike was also size 58 (Cannondale CAAD 10, you can find a video on my channel). However, I felt it was too big for me. Canyon's size charts say only size M was suitable for me, and I'm satisfied with it. However, it's challenging to compare a more than 10-year-old road bike with a newer gravel bike with different geometry.
Same situation: I picked the L -> if exchanged with the shorter 80mm stem you have just 7mm more reach but over 20mm more stack -> more comfortable. With a 70mm stem you would have almost same stack/reach without spacers like M with spacers ;)
I consider to buy the same model in red, I'm 175cm and inner leg length of 80, according to Canyon I need to take S but I think M like yours will be better for me and will also looking better, I find your sadlle height just a little bit to high but everyone has his own taste on that.@@BikeReady
@@braros1176we have same size canyon suggested, im bit worried to get small 😢 i want the bike to be proportionate with my body 😅.i want it to be comfortable to ride. Is medium ok?
@@parpar6483 get the S, Canyon sizes are pretty big compared to other brands
Nice! What is the name of the front light and the front light mount please?
The front light is the Moon Rigel. I've made a video showcasing it on my channel. You'll need to purchase a GoPro adapter for the Garmin mount, as the Moon Rigel light comes with a GoPro mount.
How long you could use it?
Hi, do you know if the seatpost clamp will accomodate carbon oval rails? I asked Customer service but they reccomended a part that from the looks of the video will definitely not fit that clamp (the one they reccomended suits the new Ultimate seat clamp.)
I'm sorry, but I have no idea.
May I kindly ask what size is that?? Thanks 🙏🏻
It’s size M
So I can put thinner tires on this bike if I want ? I’d like the fattie tires for trails but when I ride to the gym I’d like to use 2.25s
That's a good question. The ability to use thinner tires depends on the width of the rim. You cannot fit 2.25 tires on 45mm wide rims. It might be possible with different wheels, but it could slightly alter the height of the bike and gearing. I would suggest trying 29" wheels, but I'm unsure if they would fit as I haven't attempted it myself due to the lack of suitable wheels.
Is the battery charger included? Ordered my bike, but im not shure if its in there^^
Yes, the charger is included. It comes in the SRAM box along with the battery. However, it's worth noting that the charger uses a micro USB.
Great detailed Video, helped Me decide on getting the same Model. Just One Question, What Side Brake Lever is Your Front Brake operated with?. Reason being, that mine has arrived with the Hoses Crossed over each other instead of the neat install Your Bike and the Factory images show. I have been advised by Canyon that I can get them swapped over by my Local Bike Mechanic, but I am a bit dubious that this really can be done. Thanks.
Congratulations on your new bike! In Europe, the front brake operates using the left lever, similar to mine. This contrasts with the setup typically found on motorcycles. However, it's important to note that practices may vary across regions. For instance, in the UK, the front brake operates using the right lever.
Looking great. What size did you choose? 27.5" or 28"?
Thanks. It's 28".
Is this the longer versions
No, this is normal version.
Where did you get it. They are sold out at their website
In Europe, they are currently available and ready for shipment.
When will this be available in the US?
But can it play DOOM?
70 EUR for that? Lol.
Its not that durable - I have mine for a year now and the orange fluff is already rubed through from carrying my phone in it.
Thanks for the information, can you recommend an alternative product?
@@burgerkingceo3537 im still using the aidura one. If I would be another one right now I would look into tailfin.
Very nice model and colour. Thanks for your video
Ugly. Buy normal sks 53 mm!
They look really nice imo
Дякую за відео👍
Great bike ! Where can I buy this bike stand ?
Thanks! You can purchase a bike stand like this at any reputable local bike shop.
Very keen to hear your thoughts once you've ridden a bit, I'm eyeing off one in red! Such a bargain.
I've had several shorter rides and one longer one (70km), and so far, I'm quite satisfied with it. However, everyone's needs and riding conditions vary. When it comes to the price, this bike offers unbeatable value for what you pay. I suspect the wheels might be where costs were saved. Compared to my older road bike, I've noticed that this bike grants me more freedom when planning trips. In fact, I'm seriously contemplating selling my road bike because of it.
@@BikeReady awesome! Sounds like a winner. How's the apex group set?
@@BikeReadydid you had trouble with tyre seating pt leaking by the joint/weld? DT Swiss Gravel LN, right?
I am a second before buying this one. But at some point I want to attach a rack for commuting to work which is not possible with a carbon frame. Anyway the SRAM AXS group at this price is unbeatable...
You can add the Tailfin as a rack. And I think the Aeroe can be had as well. Expensive, yes sir😅
Thanks for the video. The weighing of the wheels with full setup tells much more than any other metric by the manufacturer. Smart move. 4.225 kgs for the wheels alone is massive and it excludes the Grizl for doubling up as the occasional road bike, especially if you ride along guys on road bikes, even at the same fitness level. I was considering this particular model and the Grail Cf SL 7 which suits much better the role of the occasional road bike.
why not have a pair of wheels for your road bike rides. you can change the wheels faster than the tires
How on Earth did you calculated 4 KG ????!!!!
@@lonesome_rouleur5305 if you watched the video he put the wheels on a scale. But complete wheels with cassette, rotors, tyres and tubes.
Bikes in a real-people video allways look different and in this case, better. I´m balncing between this one and the Grail CF SL 7 with GRX 12 sp. Being more of a roadie, I tend to the latter, but that bike really looks better than I sexpected.
Very nice bike! Do you think a larger chainring would fit on this build? like a 44t? I cannot find any information about that on Canyon's website
Apologies, I'm not sure.
Give us a hub sound check!
I'm open to the idea, but right now, it's surprisingly quiet. Maybe after a few more rides, it'll get louder. It's supposed to use a Ratchet system, but I suspect it has fewer teeth, possibly 18, that's my guess.
@@BikeReady yeah I'm planning to replace the wheelset with 2024 version of Dt Swiss GR1600 It sucks we get an OEM wheelset. At least the hub could've been 36T instead of 18
