Canyon should really update the advertising about their welding. Apparently, only the bikes shipped to Europe get the smooth welds in the pictures. I got the same bike (in Belgium) and mine looks as smooth as the photos, but from what I read, the North Amwerican ones never do.
😭 just unboxed my canyon Endurace 7 & the welding seams were SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT because I loved the photos online & its completely false advertising 😠
@@Brittaba this is a downer! Along with the press-fit bb. What did you think about the sizing? I'm close to a medium at 5'10", but afraid of getting the wrong size. Hard to argue with the price!
I wish brands would offer an upgrade to carbon wheels so we can take advantage of their purchaing power. Entry level frames and groupsets are so good these days that it really comes down to the wheels to make it all come alive. I'd love to take this exact bike with carbon DT Swiss wheels!
My endurace AL 8 disc I bought last October has noticeable welds (not that I mind). Also, the box says AL 7. I have the matte true blue paint job with 105 11 speed components.
I would have bought one but my size is 2xs since i am 5.4 in which i will have to go with 27.5 tiers and its hard here to find the size in case i want to change the tiers if it came with 28c tiers than its a buy for me.
I am 5'7" and my saddle height is 70cm. According to body height, I am in between XS and S. I bought the size XS because Canyon chart says size XS for saddle height 65 - 75cm, and I am right in the middle.
Bought this one for my 7 day trip to KATY TRAIL, the bike will be pile up with other steel bikes in the van and drive from Houston to Kansas City, and then take it on a train back. Kind of don't want to ruin a nice carbon frame...
Great and unbiased review, loved the attention to details!
Great review. Thank you for taking some componenets apart - We dont see that much in other review videos.

@@manemisdonmalasnemissalata6324 yes, bought mine from Canyon’s website.

I was test riding their bikes last year at Canyon HQ Koblenz, Germany. Nice bikes for sure.👍
Just got my first Endurance AL🎉
I just ride my Canyon endurances CF today, and the design and the experience is great, I recommend this product 😃
I am looking into buying this model as my first bike.. Nice video!
I have the 2017 Canyon Endurace AL. It´s a very good bike !
Thanks for sharing, really enjoyed your perspective and review. Seems like a great bike, I'm considering it more after watching this.

I love my Endurace, hope you enjoy yours!!
Such a nice color! Congrats! I am considering a endurace as well.

Very helpful video, keep them coming. 😊
可利乎應該要在中文頻道多多推廣英文頻道,我喜歡看單車,也喜歡練習英文!尤其是發音和語調的部分!能知道很多單車領域英文用語,我覺得很多使用者也很愛

Is there really no problem to fit 35mm at rear wheel? I think about bying this bike but want to put tire gravelkings ss+ 35mm
yes, 35mm is totally fine, i just finish "KATY TRAIL" 250 miles gravel ride with 35mm gravel tires on this bike.
@@Clifu thanks for reply and great review video!
Got mine last week (in Germany), the welds do not look like in the video, they are way smoother.
Seems we get the premium version here in germany
@@cooltwittertag Maybe It's because I have the version with the 105 group? dunno. Frame should be the same.
I've seen other endurace al's and the welds on this seem way thicker? maybe missed the smoothing part of the process! haha
Love the accent!
Anyone know when the cycplus bike radar will be available? I can't tell what he has on this bike, could be garmin varia or Magene radar
The one on the bike is Magene radar. I heard cycplus radar will be out soon, but I am not sure when either.
Would you recommend this bike for beginners?
Great 🎉 thanks :)
nice bike!
How tall are you and what size is the bike?

Very nice! 😃👍

Think he does an excellent job
呵呵,也是試驗性質的,我自己也是在練習中:)
thx
Should have paid extra for the CF

The photo in the thumbnail is a CF, not AL
Nope, its aluminum. Only the fork ist carbon fibre. Look for the weld at the frame :)
No, its the aluminium. Its supposed to be ground smooth
